In Chinese Medicine, Yang is an activity whereas rest is Yin. Crucially these must be in balance to maintain good health and wellbeing.

Too much yang (activity) leads to exhaustion and stress, this is easily done in the modern world. But too much yin (rest) results in sluggishness and lethargy.

A balanced lifestyle blends both forms of energy (yang and yin) to support the body's natural rhythms, which maintains a harmonious existence.
