Imbolc is traditionally celebrated in the Celtic calendar as being the time when the earth & nature stirs back to life.
A time of renewal, rejuvenation and a time to look towards the coming of spring with a sense of hope, wonder, joy and excitement.
Combined with this years Imbolc is a rare full moon, making this is the ideal opportunity to develop a sense of connection to oneself, others and the wider universe

Maria is a massively experienced and qualified Sound Healer and Journey invigilator who is travelling cross county from Rhyl to deliver a special hour long Gong Sound Healing Immersion after the Hatha Yoga workshop.

After the long holiday break we return again for regular weekly Friday morning sessions.
It's been a while, and I'm certain many of you may be finding the thought of a Yoga session daunting, but allow me to assure you, all will be well.๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป
I promise a slow, gentle, ease in class with nothing that will be too tricky or exerting, some flow, some alignment work, pranayama (Breathwork) guided meditation, relaxation with the Tibetian Singing Bowls.

In our Yoga practice, we find the relationship of our breath with our movement........how movement is produced and supported by our muscle groups, tendons, nerves... operating all as one.

For our Friday class at 10a.m in The Free Library in Dolgellau we will explore the ways in which our Yoga practice can guide us towards a place of Peace.

Our arrival to peace comes when we stop looking for it, striving for it, when the chatter of our minds becomes still and we accept what is without judgement or desire to change.

Week 2. Physical and Emotional Balance

The foundations of a healthy, fulfilling life,...
Without them, everything feels a bit... well..off.
Itโ€™s like trying to drive a car with one flat tireโ€”you're still moving, but itโ€™s bumpy and exhausting.
Out of balance,( physically or emotionally),.. we start reacting instead of responding to situations.
Itโ€™s like a storm inside, which spills over into how we interact with the world around us.
No one wants to be around a storm all the time, right?

But when we bring some balance into our livesโ€”through taking the time to really check in with ourselves, with a Yoga practice for instance...
Itโ€™s like flicking a switch, we become ourselves again. It doesnโ€™t mean life is perfect, but we can face it with more clarity, calmness, and connection to others.
And that shift, it can lead to a whole new level of joy and fulfillment.

Focus this week is on improving Health, (physical, mental and emotional), this is especially important as the seasons shift.
Tomorrows class (Wednesday) will be based in Dynamic Vinyassa Flow, (what the heck does that mean????) .. ....Sequencing postures together to create a fluid and seamless class.
To wind down, there will be gentle & restoritive practices.

Fridays class is similar following a traditional form of Hatha Yoga, (as taught in The Himalayas).
Both sessions include a deep sound / relaxation healing session with Tibetian Bowls.

This weeks approaching 3 classes in Dolgellau Town Center focus deeply in the arena of Cycles & Circles within our practice of Yoga.
Many of our postures create these patterns that perfectly mirror and respect the majestic and power shapes within mother nature. ๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ๐Ÿชฌ๐Ÿ•‰๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ๐ŸงŽโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‹
From the rising and setting sun, the flow of the tide, moon cyles to the stillness of a quiet mountain lake...all to be discovered and appreciated within this weeks classes.
