Last night we were invited to the Pride of Edlington Awards, where Sew Mindful Crafts CIC was nominated for Best New Business Making a Difference…

…and we’re so proud to say we won 1st place! 🏆

This award means so much because it reflects the people behind Sew Mindful Crafts, our amazing volunteers, tutors, supporters, and every single person who walks through our doors. You are the reason we do what we do 💙

From creative workshops and wellbeing sessions to our men’s group, community projects, and digital opportunities, this award belongs to all of you.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and helping us make a difference in Edlington and beyond. Here’s to many more creative, supportive, and inspiring moments together ✨

Great evening at our Men’s Group last night 🙌

Some of the lads sat together chatting, while others picked up the guitars and enjoyed a bit of music , exactly what the space is all about.

We had 14 attend, and to top it off, 9 of us headed out for a curry afterwards 🍛
It turned into a long shift, but honestly worth every minute.

Wow… we honestly can’t believe the response lately 🤯

In the last 28 days our page has reached an incredible 236,690 views, and we’ve had a huge number of new enquiries and messages, thank you all so much for the support 💙

Because of this surge, Facebook sometimes limits how many replies we can send in comments as it can flag activity as spam. So if you’ve commented and we haven’t replied yet, please don’t think we’re ignoring you.

📣 Quick Update from Sew Mindful Crafts

We just wanted to let everyone know that due to a huge influx of enquiries recently (which we’re incredibly grateful for 🙌), Facebook has temporarily limited our ability to reply to messages as their system has flagged high activity as possible spam.

We’ve already spoken with Facebook and we’re hopeful this will be resolved very soon.

🎙️ Exciting news from Sew Mindful Crafts!

After lots of behind the scenes work, testing, and a fair bit of podcast button pressing 😂 we’re getting ready to launch our very first podcast this week!

The podcast will focus on sharing local news, community stories, events, and opportunities happening in and around Doncaster, helping people stay connected with what’s going on right on their doorstep.

As we grow, we’d love to invite local people, groups, and organisations to join us on future weekly episodes. It’s a great way to share what you do, reach new audiences, and celebrate our community together.
