For those who may not know, Sew Mindful Crafts CIC is a non profit organisation that is largely run by volunteers.
Our ethos is simple: helping people build confidence, learn new skills, and improve their mental health and wellbeing through creativity, support, and community.
We don’t just run sewing and crafting workshops. We also support victims of domestic abuse, run a men only group focused on men’s mental health and wellbeing, ( soon to be re branded ) and help people who are struggling financially by providing free mobile phone data through our community support programmes.
We provide all the specialist equipment needed for our workshops, making activities accessible to everyone regardless of their circumstances. We are also developing a community podcast to share local stories, information, and conversations that matter to our community.
Alongside this, we regularly support cancer awareness projects and other community initiatives that help make a difference to people’s lives.
We’re incredibly proud that Sew Mindful Crafts is gaining increasing recognition for the work we do, and we can’t wait to share some exciting news and new developments with you very soon!
If you’d like to find out more about our services, access support, volunteer with us, or discuss ways you can support our work, please send us a message. We’d love to hear from you.
