🟣Would they like the opportunity to make new friends?

If you have heard about the recent SEND Reforms and wondered how you can make a difference locally, then the Making A Difference Meetings are for you!

We regularly meet with service leads in Doncaster to allow parents/carers to feedback their views and experiences on matters relating to health and education in Doncaster for their children and young people with SEND.

WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS/CARERS

Transition from Primary to Secondary School
21st May 2026
10am - 12pm
Doncaster Carers Centre, 2 Regent Terrace, Doncaster, DN1 2EE​

This is a workshop for parents/carers of Year 5 and Year 6 children/young people where we will look at:

* Preparing for transitions to secondary schools
* The challenges our autistic children/young people may experience when transitioning to secondary school
* Strategies to support our autistic children/young people in preparing for the transition
* Managing anxieties around transition
