We hope everyone is keeping cool in the heat today!
Last week before it got so hot we managed to take our lovely Carol and Milo for a nice walk on the local green!
Keep safe and remember to check on your loved ones/pets and the vulnerable while the temperatures are so high ☀️🔥🐶

We did Independence Day in style this week, with Burger & Fries, Hotdogs, Donuts, Milk Shakes & Apple Pie!
Once again our chefs pulled it out of the bag to create this All American Themed Feast for everyone!

For the first time in a long time we have beds available here at Thorndene. To make sure we can help as many people as possible we keep our fee's in line with DMBC funding!
We accept respite stays as well as long term stays.
If you think you know someone who could use our service please call the home on 01302 327307 and we will do our best to accommodate.

Our residents get fantastic home cooked meals and traditional puddings made fresh every day! Our chefs really are so talented!😍

We are so overwhelmed with the turn out last week for our Jubilee street party! It was just what the doctor ordered 😁
We had a fabulous sing-a-long and traditional English spread to mark the occasion, our residents are still smiling about it!
The last few years have been tough with Covid restrictions in care homes and we know how hard its been for everyone!
We are so glad to see life returning to normal and hope to see you all again at our next event 😍
