April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month 💜
Check yourself. Know the signs. Start the conversation.
Because early detection saves lives.

Testicular cancer starts in one of the testicles. It can affect anyone who has testicles, including men, transgender (trans) women and people assigned male at birth. It is most likely to happen between the ages of 25 and 40.

The most common symptom is a lump or swelling in a testicle, or a dull ache, pain, or heaviness in the sc***um.

It is important to check your testicles regularly.

NHS bowel cancer screening kits are offered to everyone aged between 50 and 74.

They can help find cancer early, before you even have any symptoms. And the earlier cancer is found, the easier it can be to treat.

When your kit arrives, put it by the loo. Don’t put it off.

Let someone else know they should send their kit back – especially as April is Bowel Cancer Awareness month.

We have started inviting our eligible patients for this seasons Covid programme!

Who’s eligible?
✔️Adults 75 years and over
✔️Anyone living in a residential care home for older adults (even if under 75)
✔️ Immunosuppressed individuals aged 6 months and over

If you are eligible for the booster vaccine our team will contact you directly, so there is no need to call us.

◼You will receive a booking link or telephone call to arrange an appointment.
◼The appointments will be held at your registered GP Practice this season.

We have been advised of upcoming roadworks for resurfacing and speed bump insertion on Church Balk. The resurfacing is due to take place over the weekend and speed bump work will be Wednesday to Friday.

Can’t walk to 5k … read about David and what he’s achieved 🙌🏻🌟

🌟 “You’ve Got This” — David’s Inspiring Journey from cant walk to 5K 🌟

For years, David lived with severe arthritis, barely able to walk and struggling with both his physical and mental health. After major surgery on both feet, he decided to try something he never thought possible… Couch to 5K.
Fast forward a year from his final surgery, and David crossed his first 5K finish line!
Since then, he’s lost 9 stone, boosted his confidence, and even took on a “Triathlon with a Twist” a 10k run, 15,000ft skydive, and a back wax for charity! 💚💪

David’s amazing progress is a perfect reminder that getting started doesn’t have to be complicated and that small steps really do add up. That’s why we’ve launched our brand new Keeping Active guides for Doncaster, packed with simple ideas, local activities, and support to help anyone take their first step toward moving more.
