Here at The Cedars Care Home we have residents from all walks of life and who are at different stages in their life’s. So we can get to know them individually we sit with them and record their life stories asking them about their life past and present. This can be from what they did at school to how many children they have and so much more. Today I sat with a lovely man called David and learned so much about him, from leaving school at the age of 14 to making glass ornaments out of opal. Times spent with them is precious and strengthens the trust and rapour between us. Special times. 😊🗣️📝

Here at Cedars we have two mini putting greens. They were in need of some TLC due to the leaves blown on them from the trees above. So some of the residents and one of their kind relatives helped me tidy them up. Rain did stop the play (sweeping) 🧹so we only managed to sweep one of them up but hopefully we can finish the job off this week. PS: We are on the look out for some loved but unused golf clubs for our budding golfers 🏌🏼‍♂️to use, so if you have any that you can spare please bring in to the Cedar Lodge reception. Thank you ⛳️
