Residents in Doncaster can now recycle their vapes and household batteries through their kerbside collections in a move intended to reduce fires and make recycling easier♻️

From this week, households can leave vapes, e-cigarettes and most small batteries in a sealed clear bag on top of their blue recycling bin.

Collection crews will collect them as part of their normal round.

We’ve had lots of requests for a Teen SEN evening, so we’re excited to announce that we’ll be trialing this at Play Valley Doncaster!

This session is exclusively for teens aged 13–17 years with special educational needs and disabilities, and includes:

✨ Low-volume environment
✨ Chill-out sensory space
✨ No loud announcements
✨ A safe, supportive setting
✨ Opportunities to meet new friends

Our first session is on Wednesday 17th December from 6pm - 8pm. Parental supervision is required at these sessions and tickets do need to be pre-booked.
