Elixir Aesthetics was established by Lyndsey Frith RN B. Sci (Hons) Independent Nurse Prescriber in 2008. Lyndsey started her nursing career in 1997 at Hull University and specialized in major surgery acting as an advanced scrub practitioner. Lyndsey gained a Bachelor of Medical Science in Acute and Critical Care Practice at The University of Sheffield in 2007, and gained a 2:1 in her degree. Lyndsey has always had an interest in medical aesthetics, and in 2008, after thoroughly researching all of the training schools in the country, trained at the prestigious KT Training in Harley Street, London in 2008 to 2009 to train in the field of medical aesthetics. Lyndsey then in 2010 privately trained to be an independent nurse prescriber at DeMontford University in Leicester, which had a main focus on medical aesthetics to tailor her skills of prescribing in her chosen field. Lyndsey trained to be an advanced aesthetic practitioner, enabling her to offer her clients an advanced aesthetic package which offers advice and treatments in every aspect of medical aesthetics. All of these opportunities have led Lyndsey to be an experienced injector who gets fabulous results. Lyndsey continues to attend many training events and seek out new products and innovations in her field to ensure all of her clients receive safe effective results with top quality products with the techniques and skills to ensure her clients leave her clinics looking fabulous..and more importantly, happy. Lyndsey has never really had to advertise her services, she has grown her practice through recommendations and word of mouth, and is known throughout Doncaster as "coming highly recommended". 🚫 PSA: No chemical peels if you’ve been on the sunbeds! ☀️❌

Nurse Ayesha might be having a laugh in the video—but we’re serious about this one 👇

If your skin has had recent UV exposure from sunbeds, we will not carry out a chemical peel.

Here’s why:

⚠️ Sunbeds compromise your skin barrier. Even if you’re not visibly burnt, the deeper layers of your skin are more vulnerable.

🧪 Peels are active treatments. When combined with UV-damaged skin, this can lead to increased risk of sensitivity, pigmentation, burns, and poor results.

⏳ Your skin needs to be free from sunbed use for a good while before it’s safe to treat. Healthy, calm, unexposed skin = better, safer results.
