This month our School Nurses are out and about increasing the awareness of our offer in each secondary school! We hope you’ve all had a smooth transition back into school and it’s been lovely to get to know the new students.

Alongside this, as it World Su***de Prevention Day we’ve been sharing handouts & having conversations with young people supporting this years theme of “Changing the narrative on suicide”

Paddling pools are a great way to have fun and cool down in the warmer weather. But it’s important to remember little ones can drown in just a few cm of water.
That’s why it’s so important to keep little children in arms reach when they’re in or around the paddling pool.
It’s also wise to empty paddling pools after use to stop children falling in accidentally or entering them unsupervised.

🎉 Happy 10 years! 🎉

The North Lincolnshire School Nursing Team, part of the 0-19 (25 SEND) Health and Wellbeing service celebrated their 10-year anniversary within Rotherham, Doncaster & South Humber NHS Trust this June! The school nursing service works as part of a wider team, including senior school nurses, community staff nurses, and nursery nurses. They are trained to support children and young people in making healthy lifestyle choices, helping them reach their full potential and enjoy life. What a pleasure it has been to be able to support children, young people & their families within North Lincolnshire whilst working alongside various multi-agencies!
