IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
We are doing our very best to meet your needs during this difficult period.
You will be aware that our teams of staff are working under sustained pressure and the need for accuracy when dispensing medicines is critical.
To give our team an adequate rest period so they can remain alert we will be making some temporary changes to our opening hours;
We will have a “closed-door” policy for the first and last hour of our normal business opening times other than our Express store where this time will be adjusted:
09:00-10:00 (08:00 – 08:30 at our Express store)
Last Hour (other than our Express store)
We will close during the lunch period. Times for this may vary by location as advertised on our door but will be around 13:00 to 14:00 (13:30 to 15:30 at our Express store)
We will not be open for prescription collections during these periods, this is so we can process prescriptions for collection later and clean the environment to protect staff and patients. Please do not telephone between these times unless your call is an emergency.
We ask that you respect a 2m area around our till areas in our branches to isolate our staff to protect them from possible infection.
We ask that you stand behind our barrier area until the counter is free.
Staff shortages from illness will lead to unplanned pharmacy closures, we hope to avoid this by protecting our colleagues so they can continue to serve your healthcare needs. If a pharmacy is closed, we will signpost you to the nearest open branch.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience.
If you are self-isolating and cannot collect your prescription, as advised by NHS England, please arrange for a member of your family or a friend / carer to collect your prescription. Our delivery service is at capacity and we are restricting demand on this service to ensure elderly / frail patients are prioritised.
We hope you stay well. You can find the latest COVID-19 advice and guidance at
