When I decided I wanted a side hustle, I started thinking about what I could do — and that’s when I came across Louise French and her VWax intimate waxing one-to-one training. From the very first message, Louise was amazing. She replied quickly, explained everything clearly, and was completely transparent about what the course included and the costs involved. What I really appreciated was that there was absolutely no pressure from her when I said I wanted a couple of days to think about it. She simply told me to reach out if I decided to go ahead.
A few days later, I messaged her and said, “Let’s do it!” I paid my deposit to secure the course, and from there everything was so straightforward. I had plenty of time to complete the theory side before the practical, which made such a difference because there was no stress or rushing. I also love that you get to keep the course materials afterwards, so as someone completely new to waxing, I can still go back and refresh myself whenever I need to.
Leading up to the training day, Louise gave me all the information I needed — directions, what to bring, and what the day would involve. She even provided the models, which took so much pressure off me.
On the day itself, Louise was so welcoming and professional. We had a quick chat about what I wanted to get from the course and where I was at confidence-wise before getting started. I’m not going to lie — there were definitely moments during the day where I struggled with confidence, but Louise was incredible throughout. There was never any judgment. She guided me through everything patiently, helped whenever I got stuck, and made me feel comfortable and supported the entire time.
The whole experience, from booking the course right through to aftercare afterwards, has honestly been brilliant. Even after qualifying, Louise has still checked in with me to see how I’m getting on and whether I have any questions. That level of support really means a lot.
I genuinely couldn’t recommend Louise French enough. She’s knowledgeable, professional, supportive, and clearly passionate about what she does. The VWax products are amazing too. I went from being completely new to waxing to now being a fully qualified intimate waxer — something I never thought I’d have the confidence to do!
If you’re thinking about booking a course with Louise, honestly just go for it. You’ll be in the best hands. She’s absolutely brilliant at what she does, and I’m so glad I chose to train with her at Perfect Harmony.
