We have had a number of cancellations for the Cinema Trip today to see the film Fantastic Four at the Savoy Cinema at 12.00pm.

Tickets are priced at £1.50 each or £5.00 for a family of 4. Payment will be taken at the cinema and we kindly request cash payments. If you would like to attend this session please can you email us as soon as possible at dpvevents@doncastercarers.org.uk

We are getting ready for the next SEND young voices meeting in September, we would love more young people to join us. Are you aged between 12 - 25yrs and would like to make a difference for SEND young people in Doncaster if so leave a message and we will get back to you.

Last night the Voice of SEND Young People met with the Mayor of Doncaster and the Doncaster SEND Transformation Team to talk about their experiences transitioning to college, post 16 options and employment. This was an excellent meeting where the young people of the group were free to share their thoughts and feelings about their experiences.

The Voice of SEND Young People is a group of young individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who are passionate about improving SEND education in Doncaster. The group collaborates closely with Doncaster Council, Doncaster Parents Voice, and other partners to drive positive change.

Our meetings are open to young people aged 12 to 25 years with SEND. Participants are welcome to bring a trusted adult, parent, carer, or chaperone for support. If you would like to join the group or to find out more, please click the link below:

The Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) are supporting Doncaster to undertake a deep review of what’s available for young people. We need your support to help us capture young people’s thoughts and feelings around the use of youth services and activities. This survey aims to capture the voices of young people ages 10-25 years on their thoughts and feelings around youth services & activities in Doncaster.

Can you spare a few minutes to fill in a questionnaire?

The Inclusive Crisis Alternatives project is looking to develop the workforce to deliver services that meet the needs of people, who are neurodivergent or have a learning difficulty, including those from minoritised communities.

The questionnaires will help to understand what training staff need to better support neurodivergent people and people with learning difficulties when they are in crisis. All of the questionnaires have been designed with Experts by Experience, who are neurodivergent and/or have learning difficulties.

There are four questionnaires:

one for adults
one for children and young people
one for parents and carers
and one for staff working in crisis alternative services..
