We have had a new entertainer today Darren Woodward he was absolutely fantastic.
He sang along with Elton John, Freddie Mercury and a couple of others.
Everyone really enjoyed it and would like him to come back.

We started our day with home made pancakes for breakfast, with toppings of choice. These go down amazing I must of made 70 of them this morning

Then our residents prepared their own full English for lunch. Myself and Amy cooked it for them.

I made the pudding, we always have something very different to what is normally on the menu.
It was meringue nest with fresh cream and fresh fruit with a drizzle of strawberry sauce.

And for our diabetic lady she had a pancake with fresh cream and a little fresh fruit.

We finished of our day with our choir songs.

Our Valentine raffle is now on sale.
£1 a strip of tickets, will be drawn on 12th February after our singer as finished.
All money raised is towards the residents funds.

Another lovely busy day.
We started of with play your cards right, unfortunately we only won ten games out of about 40 haha.

Then our choir practice which is getting very good, we have chosen the three songs we are definitely using, we have bought some micro phones for our lovely residents and will be trying them out tomorrow.

Finished the day of this afternoon with a true or false quiz.
We had Tony's team which was Doreen, Daisy, hilda and Norman

Colin's team which was Ken, Mags, Joan and Amy.

Tony's team won again making it four wins in a row.

Woodlea have had a busy week.

We have had choir practice every morning this week.
The reason behind the choir, we are taking part in care homes got talent, the residents chose to form a choir they picked the songs they would like to sing, they have been practice very hard, so proud of them. We are not sure of the date of it just yet but we will let you all know when we find out.

Thursday afternoon our dance exercise. Everyone looks forward to this. We have lots of fun with it as well as the exercise.

It worked fantastic and had lots of winners.
