I regularly use the phrase "an investment in" or "prioritising one's health" with Clients.

Often this is interpreted as a financial decision; an exchange of money in receipt of therapy and, whilst this is true, the flexibility of mind to see all aspects of these phrases is key.

Are you tired, overworked, stressed, "not feeling it" mentally or indeed "feeling it" physically? Are you "getting old" or "not as young as you used to be?"

If you simply recognise these things, you're seeing the bigger picture regarding your health; excellent and it's at this point I would recommend doing something about it!
