Maggie, you absolute superstar. This month, you’ve blown every single one of us away residents, staff, visitors, inspectors… honestly, anyone who’s been lucky enough to step foot into Bennfield has felt the magic coming from your kitchen.
Your dedication goes way beyond “just cooking.” You create comfort, warmth, and community with every plate you serve. From your fabulous homemade cakes that have half the staff “accidentally” wandering into the kitchen… to your diabetic friendly desserts that somehow taste better than the sugary ones… to the way you make sure every resident feels listened to and catered for your food is care. Your food is dignity. Your food is home.
And we have to mention your incredible commitment this month, stepping up and working so many extra shifts without a single complaint. You’ve kept the kitchen running flawlessly, supported the team through this month, and still delivered the same high standards you’re known (and loved) for. That level of dedication doesn’t just help the home, it lifts everyone around you.
The residents talk about you like you’re a member of their own family. Staff adore you for your humour, your hard work, and the way you still manage to be kind and smiling even when you’re juggling 50 things by yourself. You keep our kitchen spotless, your paperwork immaculate, and your standards sky high every single day.
