Our Extra Mile Award 💛

Lesley joined the Dunniwood Lodge team in September, with no previous experience in care. From day one, she’s taken the time to get to know residents, notice the small things, and step in wherever she’s needed, often before being asked. Families have noticed too. One relative shared:

“Her compassion and commitment to those placed in her care is exemplary. A role model for the younger team”

Lesley has quickly become a trusted and valued part of the team, and this nomination reflects the difference she makes every day.

Our Christmas party! 🎄

We enjoyed live music from the wonderful Steve Love, with plenty of singing and dancing along.

And let's not forget the surprise visit from the Grinch that had everyone laughing!

The Christmas grotto was a favourite, with many stopping to chat. There were lots of smiles as we enjoyed the nostalgia. A busy, cheerful afternoon, full of music and lovely conversation.

The panto paid us a visit this week and it was lovely to see so many smiles. 🥰

Most residents grew up going to pantos and experiences like these tap into long-term memory which can bring a lot of joy to those living with dementia.

It's always a pleasure to create shared experience between residents, our team and families. Quality time with our loved ones means everything to us here at Dunniwood Lodge.
