A little honest update from me…
The last 13 weeks since my surgery have been far more challenging than I ever expected.
There’s been pain, ongoing swelling, and the frustration of not being able to move and work in the way I’m used to. Healing really does take so much longer than we think.
It’s meant numerous appointments — physio, MLD, foot clinics — all part of the journey to getting back to full strength again.
As someone who spends her days helping others relax, rebalance and listen to their bodies… this has been a huge lesson for me too.
Because if I’m honest — I’m not naturally very good at slowing down.
But this experience has reminded me just how important it is to listen to your body, respect its limits, and allow proper time to heal.
Something I’ve always shared with clients… and now I’m truly living it myself.
In the middle of it all, I’ve also created something really positive:
✨ I’ve launched my new venture with Temple Spa
✨ I’ve explored slower, creative things like needle felting
✨ And I’ve taken time to reflect on how I can support my clients even better
This period hasn’t been easy — but it’s deepened my understanding of recovery, stress, and the importance of proper self-care on a whole new level.
And it’s exactly why I’m so passionate about what I do.
Whether it’s reflexology to help rebalance the body and calm the nervous system, or a relaxing Mediterranean-inspired facial to give you time out and restore your glow… sometimes your body just needs that space to reset.
If you’ve been feeling run down, stressed, or like your body is asking you to slow down…
this is your little reminder to listen to it 💛
I’m now gradually opening up more appointments again, so if you’d like to book in for some well-deserved time for yourself, just pop me a message.
