We really do underestimate just how much our feet do for us… until suddenly we can’t use them.
Our feet carry us through every single day.
They help us stand, walk, balance, drive, exercise, work, shop, dance, explore new places, chase after our children, and simply move through life with freedom and independence.
They support our posture, absorb impact, and quietly keep us going thousands of steps at a time… asking for very little in return.
And yet, we rarely stop to thank them or care for them properly.
As many of you know, I’ve just had foot surgery and I’m only day 5 into recovery. 🤯
Right now I’m on crutches, unable to weight bear, and very aware of just how life-changing it is when your feet can’t do their job. Even the simplest things suddenly take time, patience, and help from others. (My husband Jon is being a star).
This experience has reminded me even more why foot care and reflexology are so important.
Our feet truly are the foundation of our wellbeing — and they deserve care, rest, and attention before pain or problems force us to stop.
So today, take a moment to appreciate your feet.
Maybe give them a gentle massage, soak them in warm water, or simply rest them for a while.
They carry your whole world. 💚
