Today we said our final goodbyes to Maureen alongside her lovely family and friends at Memoria Doncaster & South Yorkshire Memorial Park & Crematorium.

Maureen’s traditional funeral service, conducted by Craig Tyler, was emotional yet lighthearted and was just as Maureen wanted.

She will be so missed.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Philomena Mary Marie Sutton on 18th December 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

A cherished mother, devoted wife, beloved sister and auntie, treasured friend and loved and respected colleague by all her peers at DRI A&E dept.

Philly’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 13th January at Rose Hill Cemetery Chapel at 2pm.

We will be leaving the family home address at 1:15pm and pausing at DRI A&E dept at 1:20pm to honour Philly’s much loved last place of work.

Anyone wanting to send flowers please contact Philly’s family to do so, there will also be a collection in Philly’s name.

Following the burial, everyone is welcome to join Philly’s family in remembering the love and good times you all shared together at the Comrades Club in Bennethorpe.

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Maureen Janet Buckley of Balby on 15th December 2025 at home.

Much loved and adored mum, beloved nan, sister and friend to many.

Maureen touched the lives of everyone that knew her with laughter, love and countless happy memories.

Maureen’s funeral will be held at Memoria Barnby Dunn Crematorium on Wednesday 7th January at 12noon.

Family flowers only please and donations will be greatfully received after the service for the ICU at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

This evening, Kory and Faye attended The Stars of Love Service at Rose Hill Crematorium to remember the babies who are so deeply loved and forever missed 🤍

A huge heartfelt well done to Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Bereavement Team and the wonderful staff at Rose Hill Crematorium for organising such a beautiful and meaningful christmas service.
