This week in the studio, we’re exploring the Throat Chakra, Vishuddha, the energetic centre of voice, sound, and authentic expression.
In yoga philosophy, the universe itself is understood as vibration, Nāda Brahma, the idea that all of existence is sound.
When we work with the throat chakra, we begin to explore how our voice carries energy, intention, and truth into the world.
Throughout the week we’ll be weaving in elements of Bhakti Yoga, the devotional path of yoga that uses chanting, mantra, and sacred sound as a way of connecting to something deeper than the thinking mind.
We’ll also be exploring the archetypal energies of Saraswati, goddess of wisdom, music and sacred speech, and Shiva, whose cosmic rhythm reminds us that creation itself begins with vibration.
Sound has the power to move energy through the body, regulate the nervous system, and open emotional space for expression and healing.
This weekend we deepen the exploration:
✨ Bhakti Circle: Sunday 11am
A beautiful space to gather in circle, sing simple chants, and explore devotional sound practice together.
✨ Spring Equinox Sister Circle; Sunday 5pm
A heart-opening evening of intention setting, sound, ceremony and meditation as we welcome the energy of spring.
Your voice is not just something you use to speak.
It is an instrument of vibration, expression and connection.
