🌿 Supporting the Body After Cancer Treatment 🌿

Cancer treatment can sometimes affect the lymphatic system — especially when lymph nodes are removed or impacted during surgery or radiotherapy.

For some people, this may lead to secondary lymphoedema — swelling caused by fluid build-up because lymph cannot drain effectively.
It most commonly affects:

• the arm or chest after breast cancer treatment
• the legs after pelvic or abdominal cancer treatment
• the head and neck area following surgery or radiotherapy

🤲 How Can Manual Lymphatic Drainage Help?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialist treatment designed to encourage natural lymph flow.

When performed by a properly trained therapist, MLD may help to:

💧 Reduce fluid build-up
💧 Ease feelings of heaviness and tightness
💧 Improve tissue softness
💧 Support comfort and mobility

I’m proud to share that I have completed my Diploma in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Diploma in Oncology Massage (FHT accredited).
These are not spa massages.

These are clinical, adapted treatments designed with safety, knowledge and compassion at the centre.

Oncology Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage are always tailored to the individual. Every session is carefully adjusted depending on medical history, current health, energy levels and emotional wellbeing.

And most importantly:
🤍 This treatment can be performed fully clothed if the client feels more comfortable.
🤍 No oils are required if that feels safer.
🤍 Positioning is adapted.
🤍 Pressure is gentle and intentional.
Everything is done to ensure:
