Job Opportunity - Weekend Kitchen Assistant

Are you passionate about helping others and enjoy working in a kitchen environment? We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team at Culliford House.

About the Role:
As a Weekend Kitchen Assistant, you will support the cook in preparing and serving meals for our residents, while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organised. You’ll play a key role in making mealtimes a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Washing up and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• Supporting meal service and ensuring dietary requirements are followed
• Storing food safely and in line with hygiene standards
• Working closely with the care and kitchen teams to support residents’ nutritional needs

What we’re looking for:
• A friendly and helpful attitude
• Good hygiene and awareness of kitchen safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous kitchen or care experience is helpful but not essential – training will be provided
• Reliability and a genuine interest in working with older people
