🌿 Social Prescribing Day 2026 🌿

Today, we’re proud to celebrate Social Prescribing Day – a global movement recognising the incredible impact of community-based support on people’s health and wellbeing.

At our surgery, we’re lucky to have a dedicated Wellbeing Team who make this possible every day: Mel, Mo, and Jodie 💚

Social prescribing is all about looking beyond medical needs and supporting the whole person. Whether it’s connecting patients to local groups, activities, or practical support, our team helps people feel more connected, supported, and empowered in their lives.

👏 A huge thank you to Mel, Mo, and Jodie for the compassion, care, and difference you bring to our patients and community every day.

Let’s continue to celebrate the power of community, connection, and care.

Are you an unpaid carer?

Many people look after a family member, partner, friend or neighbour who couldn’t manage without their help, and don’t always think of themselves as a carer. If this sounds like you, please let our practice know so we can support you.

By registering as a carer with the practice, you may be able to access:
• Health checks
• Flexible appointments where possible
• Information about local support services
• Advice and signposting for carers

If you are an unpaid carer, please contact reception or speak to a member of the team to make sure we have this recorded on your notes.

Thank you for everything you do to support others.
