Our eccentric environment offers the perfect location for Shinrin yoku & mandala art workshops for mental health professionals. The SLCC ethos is simple, we take a holistic approach to counselling, learning & wellbeing which can involve the whole family wherever possible. Therapy does not have to be restricted to a room, we offer a warm, caring & safe calming environment of 10 acres of woodland, ponds and gardens where people can explore their feelings openly and honestly. We provide emotional support to all adults and young people and specialise in working with neurodiversity such as; autistic traits, ADHD/ADD, sensory dysregulation, learning & processing difficulties such as dyslexia. Other areas of mental health such as anxiety, abuse(s), abortion, anger management, bereavement, bullying, self-harm, trichotillomania (hair pulling),su***de, OCD, survivors of su***de, relational issues, gender and transgender. We support each client in building self confidence and self-esteem. Well-being is equally important at SLCC our resident physiotherapist Swami Stephen is here to guide you through meditation, Hatha yoga and Ayurvedic practices. Stephen originally trained as a sports physiotherapist progressing to study more challengingly massage techniques, he now specialises in Thai Massage. This powerful combination encourages, supports and balances healing, either after a physical injury or stress related problems.
