Have Your Say on Mental Health Services in Surrey and North East Hampshire πŸ’¬

Surrey and North East Hampshire are working on a new approach to make mental health support more connected and easier to access locallyβ€”and we would love your input!

Right now, a team is developing a framework to better join up the services, teams, and organisations that support mental health in our local communities. The goal is to make sure people can get the help they need, when they need itβ€”without being passed around from one service to another.

Surrey Coalition of Disabled People and the Independent Mental Health Network are helping to gather views from people with lived experience, as well as their families and carers.

You can get involved whether you’ve used mental health services or not, your views matter. All you have to do is complete a quick and anonymous surveyβ€”it only takes a few minutes!

There are just four questions, focusing on what you would like to see done differently and how you currently find information, advice, and support when you need it.

The closing date is Friday 10th October 2025.

πŸ“’ Clarification on Audiology Services at Dorking Hospital

We would like to clarify that the recent closure of the Kingston Hospital-run Audiology service at Dorking Hospital is not connected to DHC Outpatients at this location. This service was entirely run by Kingston Hospital.

We would like to reassure our patients that the Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) department at DHC Outpatients, Dorking Hospital, is running as normal and continues to be supported by Audiology.

We understand the inconvenience this causes for patients who must now travel a greater distance to Kingston to access this service Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership are working with healthcare partners to explore options for restoring this local provision.
