Our Physio-led Strength & Balance sessions are designed specifically for older adults who want to maintain independence, move with confidence, and stay active in daily life!

Led by a experienced physiotherapists, these sessions offer safe, progressive movement that supports:

🦶 Improved balance & coordination
💪 Functional strength for everyday tasks
🚶‍♀️ Greater independence with or without mobility aids

This is not just a gentle class, it's empowering, steady, and intentionally designed for those simply looking to stay strong and capable, recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions.

We have sessions on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Plus our clinic and studio is fully accessible with ramp access and free parking, based on the beautiful Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking.

We know you're thinking “ugh, another form” , but hear us out! 🙏 This one’s actually super useful. It takes just a minute or two and gives your physio a quick snapshot of how things are going, what’s improved, what’s still tricky, and whether your plan needs a little tweak.

It’s kind of like a progress tracker & conversation starter which, linked with discussion in your appointment, helps us get a better picture of where you're at. The better picture we get, the better care you get. Simple as that. 💡

Pilates Teacher Training at Oxford Brookes University and Beyond! 🎓✨

Last week, our SHP Health team had the amazing opportunity to deliver our physio-led Pilates Teacher Training to the talented physiotherapy students at Oxford Brookes University . We were so excited when the Physio Society reached out to collaborate! 💙

Our course combines evidence-based physiotherapy knowledge with the principles of traditional Pilates, creating a unique, functional, and enhanced standing repertoire. It’s a method designed and tailored to real-life mobility and strength, which is exactly why SHP Dynamic Pilates Teacher Training is such a great fit not only for the next generation of physios but anyone with a passion for empowering movement.

🗣️ Are you a physio or physio student interested in Pilates training? We’d love to hear from you! We offer flexible online and hybrid courses, and if you're part of a group or society, like at Oxford Brookes, we may even be able to bring our in-person training to you.
