This afternoon we improvised as unfortunately the choir we were expecting had to cancel due to illness. We cracked open the mince pies and nail varnish for some Christmas style nails for our ladies courtesy of our wonderful Alex. I think you’ll agree there are some great colours and Christmas themes. As well as the pampering we finished a tree and did some colouring in. Getting Christmas things done at Dorking Manor.

What a fun filled morning we had today at Dorking Manor our Dementia cafe Christmas party was in full swing. Games galore including pass the parcel, charades, throw the snowball at Father Christmas and reindeer ring toss. Some tasty party food from James and Eden in the kitchen and many laughs from everyone.

It’s only Monday and we’ve been so busy already with choirs and then this afternoon we made our own crackers ready for pulling on Christmas Day. There was a great production line going on and some laughs and eating chocolate too, hopefully some went into the crackers.

What a lovely day we had at Dorking manor. This morning we had the pleasure of Rosie the therapy dog come for a visit and taken for a walk around the home. It’s always such a joy to have her here bringing smiles and delight to our residents. Then this afternoon we had a real production line going making some beautiful Christmas cards for our residents to give to their families. Dogs and Christmas what better way to spend a Friday.
