🐶💖 Meet Rosie - Our New Therapy Dog! 💖🐶

We’re so excited to welcome Rosie, our adorable new therapy dog, and her lovely owner Alison to Dorking Manor! 🐾✨

Rosie will be visiting our residents every Thursday at 10:00am, spreading joy, comfort and plenty of cuddles along the way 💕

Pet therapy brings so many smiles to our home, and we can’t wait to see the happiness Rosie brings each week! 🐕🌼

Our talented team have been busy in the kitchen preparing a wonderful Halloween cake for our ladies and gents to enjoy! 🍰🧡

We can’t wait to celebrate with plenty of sweet treats, spooky decorations, and smiles all around 👩‍🍳✨

🌿 Dorking Manor Walking Club Update! 🌿

Our Walking Club is going from strength to strength, and it’s wonderful to see so many of our residents taking part and enjoying the fresh air together! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

This week was extra special — we had the pleasure of celebrating one of our residents’ birthdays during our walk. 🎉 Everyone loved the delicious cake made by our talented chef, and the afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and great company. 💕

✨ Diwali Celebrations at Dorking Manor! ✨

Today our lovely residents at Dorking Manor Care Home celebrated the beautiful Festival of Lights — Diwali! 🪔

The morning was filled with creativity during an arts and crafts session where everyone made colourful decorations. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious selection of Indian sweets and cakes 🍰🍬 — a perfect way to mark this special occasion.

One of our wonderful homemakers even dressed in traditional attire and looked absolutely stunning! 💛

It was a joyful day full of colour, laughter, and togetherness — just as Diwali should be! 🌟

🌟 It’s been such a busy week here at Dorking Manor Care Home already! 🌟

We’ve enjoyed a visit from Palma Harmonywellhealth Palma, our fantastic personal fitness coach 💪.
We were then treated to the wonderful sounds of a brass band quartet 🎺🎶 – absolutely delightful!
And to top it off, the amazing The Funky Fiddler came by to share his incredible talents on the violin and mandolin 🎻✨.

And it’s only halfway through the week… who knows what else is in store? 💜 Keep watching 👀!!

🌟 What a wonderful day for our residents at Dorking Manor Care Home! 🌟

Today, we enjoyed not one but two fantastic minibus trips. 🚐💫

☕ First stop: Denbies Wine Estate — where everyone relaxed with a coffee or hot chocolate and a delicious slice of cake.
🌿 Next stop: Hillyer’s Garden Centre — a lovely wander through the gift shop, with plenty of smiles along the way.

Our residents had such a great time, and they’re already looking forward to our next adventure out together! 💖

✨ This past weekend, Dorking Manor Care Home had the pleasure of welcoming the incredible Phoenix Clog Dance Team! 💃🕺

Our residents absolutely loved their lively performance – the energy, the music, and the smiles lit up the whole home. ❤️ It was a truly joyful afternoon, and we’re so grateful to the team for sharing their talent with us.

We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🌟

🧩✨ Dorking Manor Care Home are excited to share that we’ve officially started our Puzzle Club after the huge success the other week!

A number of our residents came together, joined forces, and just look at the incredible puzzle they solved as a team — wow! 🙌 Their teamwork, patience, and smiles made it such a joy to watch.

Our residents never cease to amaze us. Here’s to many more fun-filled Puzzle Club gatherings! 💜

✨ It’s been a wonderfully busy weekend here at Dorking Manor Care Home! ✨

We kicked things off with a visit from our resident personal trainer, Palma Harmonywellhealth Palma, who got everyone moving with some energetic boxing and stretching sessions using resistance bands. 🥊💪

Next up was Chia’s Crochet Club, which was a huge success – the residents loved getting creative with yarn and hooks. 🧶✨

Our arts and crafts session brought out even more creativity, with some truly beautiful sun catchers being made. 🎨🌙

We rounded off the afternoon with puzzles, which are always a favourite and such great fun. 🧩💖

One of our wonderful homemakers Betty even received flowers from a lovely relative for making their loved one so happy ☺️

It’s weekends like these that make Dorking Manor feel extra special! 💐

✨ After a busy morning of exercise at Dorking Manor Care Home, we decided to slow the pace down for the afternoon. Everyone gathered in the bistro for a relaxing Puzzle & Games Afternoon – and as you can see, it was a great success! 🧩🎲

There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and of course… cake, tea, and coffee to keep us going ☕🍰.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in – we’re already looking forward to our next Piece-ful Afternoon together! 💛
