Top tips to reduce stress:
🍁Aim to get 6-8hours of undisturbed sleep each night and go to bed & wake at roughly the same time each day to get your body in to a good routine.
🍁Try to avoid caffeine after lunchtime to aid in your sleep routine.
🍁Take time for you! Book yourself your favourite treatment, attend a yoga or relaxation class or do some at-home meditation.
🍁Take regular exercise, find something you like doing (swim, walk, gym class) and try to get into a weekly routine. Exercise releases happy hormones and will aid in a healthy sleep pattern too!
🍁Get outdoors to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the vibrancy of autumn, take some time away from screens & tech and enjoy being in nature. Gardening, going for a walk or just a nice cup of tea in the garden (when it’s not raining!).
🍁Practise breathing deeply to calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Try to breathe in slowly for a count of 4 and then exhale slowly for a count if 4-6.
