Are you afraid of your shadow?
So was I many years ago, I didn’t know it so I was afraid of the unknown.

When we deny our shadow it gets bigger.

There’s a lot of spiritual bypassing in the spiritual community, i was doing this too without realising. This is why 4 years ago i had to stop teaching Kundalini yoga after 5 years of continuous service, without shadow work, the light work doesn’t really work. We need to do the shadow work first.

It gets to the point when denying our shadow gets more uncomfortable than looking at it straight in the eye, recognising it, seeing it, accepting it, loving it, thanking it … this is the beginning of the magical alchemical process that will ultimately free you and bring you the ultimate light you’ve been craving all this time.

SELF LOVE

I used to feel guilty about adorning myself.
Women have been sold an impossible paradigm in this toxic patriarchy; we are valued by our beauty but we’re not supposed to believe we’re beautiful. So we’re brought up to be “modest” and “pretty” this only adds up to low self esteem.
We’re worthy of love regardless of the way we look and if we wish to look beautiful out of self love why can we not OWN it without being judged by others?

I’m so happy to be able to feel beautiful, adorn and celebrate myself and my beauty fully knowing my worth does not depend on it.

Time to change paradigms

TRUTH

Speaking our truth isn’t easy. It’s not what we’ve been brought up to do, especially women!
Especially in the english speaking countries!
We’ve been conditioned to please, to say we’re ok when we’re not, to say please and thank you when we don’t mean it etc.

Speaking our truth is really revolutionary!!!!

When we embark on living our lives more authentically those close to us might not like it at first. People will feel threatened by this new version of you. But it gets to a point in our evolution, if we walk the path of personal growth and healing (we all need this!!) that we no longer are able to speak anything other than the truth.
It’s very important to stay heart centred in this part of our journey so we can decide what we wish to share, why and with whom and consider how it will be received.

It is our responsibility to bring love to self and others so we can achieve a balance between not betraying ourselves any longer and also considering what the other is able to receive.

BALANCE

When we balance our masculine, feminine and child energies inside of us we become our whole healthy selves.
The last couple if years I’d been focussing too much on my work, my healing, my workshops and retreats and had abandoned my inner child, no longer having fun and going out with friends on fun days/nights out and festivals.
As soon as I realised i decided to change this. In the last few weeks I’ve gone out with my aerial tribe and gone to Ireland to celebrate birthday celebrations and to see my niece.
Here’s some highlights of the good times had.
My heart is full and my inner child is happy.

For the last 3 years I have been teaching how to balance the inner family, how the masculine and feminine parts of ourselves manifest in a healthy and unhealthy way and how to connect with the inner child we all have within us.
When we bring awareness into this with non judgement and we do the work we begin to feel safe. As our healthy masculine and feminine grow we begin to show up for ourselves in a way that owns who we are, recognises who we are, accepts who we are, honours who we are and most importantly loves who we are. Only then our inner child can feel safe to be and enjoy life.
When we bring awareness, healing and balance to this triangle, which is our inner father, mother and child, we thrive.
The more I Embody my own teachings the more I heal and the more I become the medicine I can bring to others.
This year has been very expansive for me. I have taken myself to the scariest of places, and I don’t mean physically in the outer world, I mean inside, in my inner world. I have embodied more self love and therefore have been able to feel a level of safety that has allowed me to be vulnerable in a way I couldn’t have imagined possible. I’ve found safety in my fully grounded honesty through self love, I have been able to honour my truth with compassion and been able to value and love myself enough to be able to take the risk of not knowing what the outcome would be. I’ve been able to jump into the unknown, knowing what’s truly important, no longer settling for less, no longer too afraid to rock the boat.
And guess what, on the other side I found so much recognition by those who are ready to see the depths of me but most importantly I am able to see how far I’ve come. I am able to say that I am proud of my work and grateful to be able to share my growth, my wisdom and my love.
