We've been quiet for a long time. Why?
Because the internet changed people.

When we opened our doors in 2020, we wanted to share our knowledge with those who wanted to excel.

We felt honoured to share decades of experience with our students.

But over time, as courses popped up left, right and centre, the culture changed.

It became about money.
It became about cost cutting.
It became about Black Friday discounts.
Not about the animals, nor the people inside.

And with that change, a cut-throat industry appeared.
Something we just didn't enjoy.

You see...

We taught because we love to teach.
Because we gain great pride from seeing a student grow.
We have taught around the world.
We have written a Masters degree, and postgraduate CPD.
Won commendations.

Helped build a register to raise awareness, and grew a whole new world of hybrid education for those stuck at home during COVID.

Every step of the way, our focus remained the same.
To train those who wanted to treat animals, safely and effectively.

And we would do that to the best of our ability. No corners cut.
But, as the industry changed, people changed.

People started to see us and our courses as a product to be bargained down.

But we're not a product, we're real people, with big hearts, who were willing to share what we know, with you. To help you grow.

But people forgot that.
They forgot to be kind.
They forgot to care.
They forgot that there's a person behind the email, who's given blood, sweat and tears to build what we built.

They forgot to be human.

So, if you wondered why we went quiet, that's why.

We're people, not a brick wall. Humans with hearts who love animals and wanted to share what we know. But we're not interested in cutting corners, and we were never about building "products". Were just wanted to share what we know, so you (the student) could become someone extraordinary.

When we realised that our Mission and Vision were no longer sustainable, it was time to change direction, and that's what we're doing.

Those who choose to be in our world from here on in, are always welcome. We won't be advertising courses to all and sundry. We will work with those who reach out to us because they value who we are and what we do.

Why have we chosen this route? Because we were never about "building products" and we won't harm our own people, for people who don't seem to give a damn about us.

Along the way, we made some amazing friends and learned a lot. About us, about humanity, and about what's most important to us.

Thank you for being a part of that journey. 🌿💚

Animal osteopathy is as much about communication with the animal as with the owner. Reading body language, respecting thresholds, and inviting consent (through stillness, release, or choice) makes our work safer and more effective. How do you integrate consent into hands-on sessions?

01/12/2025

Animals rarely present with isolated dysfunction. They adapt, redistribute load, and continue moving—often masking issues until secondary problems arise. Osteopathy excels in identifying these compensatory chains. How do you balance addressing primary lesions with respecting compensatory adaptations the body still relies on?

Why wait until an animal is in pain? Preventative osteopathy can help spot imbalances early, keeping joints supple, muscles healthy, and movement easy. For performance animals, this can mean fewer injuries and longer careers. For pets, it means more comfortable, playful years by your side.

What a great session of teaching. In this session, we have been discussing forelimb rehabiliation and created a storyboard to help plan out a rehabilitation plan for a Bicep tendinitis case. Well, we were prolific, after starting our story boading on the table, we decided the wall would be more effective. What a fantastic session! A lot learned and to take home. With practical applications, thinking outside the box and adaptations/amendments considered and made. 🔥

As practitioners, we hold responsibility to work within our scope, communicate clearly with owners, and collaborate with vets. Ethical practice safeguards the profession and builds trust. What ethical dilemmas have you encountered in animal practice, and how have you navigated them?

Osteopathy for animals is hands-on, gentle, and tailored. Each treatment respects the individual’s needs—whether it’s a competition horse, working dog, or much-loved family pet. Every session begins with a thorough assessment, ensuring we treat the root cause of discomfort, not just the surface signs

Did you know behavioural changes can sometimes be linked to physical discomfort? If your dog has suddenly become irritable, restless, or withdrawn, osteopathy can help uncover hidden musculoskeletal issues that may be contributing to their stress. Comfort and calm often go hand-in-hand.
