Residents and staff at Avon Reach said “Aloha” to World Cocktail Day with a vibrant Hawaiian-themed celebration 🌺🍹

The lounge was transformed into a tropical paradise, complete with Hawaiian music and a holiday atmosphere. Residents chose their favourite cocktails, with Piña Coladas and Strawberry Daiquiris proving the most popular, and enjoyed getting involved in mixing and shaking their own drinks.

Today, on International Nurses Day, we’re celebrating the skill, compassion, and dedication that define nursing at its very best.

Pictured here are resident Shirley, who spent her career caring for others as a nurse, and our Clinical Lead, Amy. Amy was also delighted to pass on our thanks to student nurse Emily, who is taking the first steps in what we hope will be a long and rewarding nursing career 🩵
