I’m not your standard yoga teacher — so I don’t offer your standard offerings.

Every workshop I run is carefully and thoughtfully curated. From the drinks I serve you on arrival to the playlist playing in the background — nothing is accidental. 🌞

My aim is to share what I’ve learned in a way that feels engaging, enjoyable and deeply rewarding. Every tip, trick, self-massage technique, acupressure point, Qi Gong flow, TCM-led restorative sequence, breathwork and meditation is chosen on purpose — to show you that this stuff is available to you, anytime, anywhere.

Taking control of your health and wellness doesn’t have to be scary or overwhelming. It can be manageable — even fun.

You don’t have to wear the right thing, be a certain size, or bend in any particular way. You just have to arrive with a full heart and an open mind. I’ll take care of the rest — and yes, I will get you to do some weird and wonderful stuff. 🧿

I’m not a guru, and I’m definitely not an expert (yet). I’m a student, just like you. The only difference is — I’ve made it my full-time job to learn, research, trial and test this stuff so I can pass it on to you in a way that feels simple and grounded. 🥝

If you’ve ever been to one of my sessions, drop your favourite drink, snack, sequence or tip below 👇🏼
Let’s share the knowledge far and wide — and grow this beautiful, connected community together.

With love always,
Laura x

Eat your hydration 💧🥝

Kiwis are little electrolyte powerhouses—packed with potassium, magnesium, calcium + sodium. They help your body stay hydrated, support nerve + muscle function, and keep things flowing on a cellular level 💧

We served nature’s way of keeping you cool, calm + energised from the inside out today at The Art of Rest as a refreshing snack. Want to know more about this furry little powerhouse … keep reading ⬇️⬇️⬇️

🥝 Kiwis for Hydration: More Than Just Water

Kiwis aren’t just juicy and refreshing—they’re naturally rich in electrolytes like potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, which all play essential roles in keeping your body balanced and hydrated, especially in the summer heat or after sweating.

Here’s how they support hydration:

🥝 Potassium:
Kiwis are an excellent source of potassium, which helps regulate fluid balance in and out of cells. It also supports heart function and muscle contraction (goodbye cramps!).

🥝 Magnesium:
This mineral helps maintain electrolyte balance, supports muscle relaxation, and improves sleep quality—vital when you’re feeling depleted or tired from heat or travel.

🥝 Calcium & Sodium:
In small, natural doses (like in kiwis), these help with nerve transmission and maintaining hydration at a cellular level, especially important if you’re sweating or active.

🥝 High water content:
Kiwis are made up of around 80% water, so they hydrate your tissues while delivering powerful antioxidants like vitamin C and E, which reduce inflammation and oxidative stress.

🥝 Digestive Support = Better Hydration:
Kiwis are rich in enzymes and fiber, supporting digestion, which is key for optimal nutrient and fluid absorption

This is me — Laura. A yoga teacher, massage therapist, and events coordinator — lying in the Greek sun in a little black bikini, not giving a @*%€, living an unfiltered Summer, reclaiming my version of wellness and finally, finally enjoying my life.

But it took a journey.

Before this trip I felt the pressure — the kind that creeps into your bones when you scroll too much, compare too much, care too much. Especially in the wellness space.
Where even loving your body can feel like another thing to perform.

I spent weeks thinking I needed to shrink.
To be more “ready.”
To hide the parts of me that weren’t toned, tight, or tidy enough.

But when I got here, I put the bikini on anyway.
I reminded myself that my body is not my worth.
It is my home. It deserves the sun, the sea, the salt in my hair.

💭 Does social media have you feeling the same way?
Are you ready to see more mid-sized, normal, beautiful bodies doing what they’re meant to do — live?

Having belly rolls doesn’t mean I can’t coach people toward better health.
It doesn’t mean I’ve failed.
It means I’m human.

So here I am. Soft, glowing, present.
Not chasing a flat stomach. Not waiting for the “after.”

🌞Embracing the softness.
🌞Embracing the aging.
🌞Falling in love with myself again.

And maybe, this is your sign to do the same.

• How to stay cool + calm using TCM & restorative yoga
• My upcoming summer workshops (designed for deep reset)
• A gentle reminder about lymphatic health
• And some reflections from me, as always

Lying here in Greece, I caught myself wondering how I’m going to celebrate the summer solstice…

And then I realised — I already am. 🌞

Solstice invites us to honour the light, pause for a moment of stillness, and notice what’s been growing quietly within. And right now, that looks like rest. Softness. Letting the sun warm my skin and time slow down.

The Ancient Greeks worshipped Helios, the sun god — they knew the sun wasn’t just light, it was clarity, energy, and divine rhythm. Rest wasn’t indulgence, it was sacred.

And maybe the Greeks still have it right. Because honestly? The real antidepressants look like the Aegean Sea, Espresso Freddos on a slow morning, the scent of oregano on the breeze, the deep warmth of strangers treating you like family, the quiet awe of ancient marble.

This is a culture that doesn’t rush. That understands pleasure, connection, and the art of doing nothing — and doing it well.

So maybe this is the celebration:
To be present.
To bask.
To breathe.
To let the light in.

🌺 Sip Bright, Live Bold 🌺

Let’s talk about a glow-up in a glass: Hibiscus Iced Tea + keep reading for my go to summer sip recipe 👌🌞

This deep crimson beauty isn’t just stunning—she’s packed with health benefits:
✨ Rich in antioxidants to fight oxidative stress
🩸 Known to support healthy blood pressure
🪨 Naturally high in iron for energy + vitality
🌿 A natural cooling herb in traditional herbalism, often used to reduce internal heat and inflammation

💡 Did you know?

— In Egypt and Sudan, hibiscus is traditionally sipped at weddings for good luck and heart health 💍

— In Ayurveda and African herbal traditions, it’s valued for its calming, cooling, and detoxifying properties

— The vibrant red hue comes from anthocyanins, powerful plant compounds that help protect your cells and skin! ✨

We’re brewing with Single Origin Hibiscus, sustainably sourced from the lush Chongoni Mountains of Malawi 🇲🇼—bringing you a sip that’s both bold and beautiful.

🧊 I’ll be serving this gorgeous Hibiscus Iced Tea tomorrow during my Summer Refresh: The Art of Rest workshop at studio in New Milton.

Join me for a slow morning of mindful movement, deep rest, and herbal refreshment to nourish your body + spirit. 💆🏽‍♀️🌞

✨ Ever heard of Marma points? In the yogic tradition, these are vital energy centers — intersections where prana (life force) meets physical structure. Think of them as the body’s secret doorways to balance and healing. 🌀

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, a parallel concept exists: acupressure points. While TCM maps meridians and moves Qi, Ayurveda charts nadis and marma. Different systems, same ancient wisdom — pressure or touch to these points can release stuck energy, boost immunity, and restore emotional harmony.

Next time you’re on the mat or receiving a therapeutic massage, remember: subtle touch to a marma point can unlock deep shifts. ✨ It’s the art of stillness as medicine.

Would you try Marma therapy? Drop a 💫 if you’re curious.
