Our main office is based in Christchurch but we are happy to support our staff placements throughout the South West region. Today is 💚

Over 300 Million people across the globe 🌎 live with a rare disease, and there are many challenges that are faced by those individuals, their families and care-givers. 💚

Internationally, on the last day of we celebrate strength, and raise awareness of the struggles faced with living with a rare disease. We also aim to further our research of the over 10,000 rare conditions and increase access to care. 💚

We had an incredible afternoon yesterday attending the annual Christchurch Business Awards and are thrilled to share that Christchurch Care has been honoured with the Family Business Award 🏆

This recognition means so much to us because it celebrates more than just business success — it celebrates our values, our history, and the people who make it all possible.

On Wednesday morning, our amazing Registered Manager, Kelly, went above and beyond and surprised one of our relatives with some flowers and a card for their birthday!

Our amazing management team is growing!!

Here at Christchurch Care we would like to say a massive thank you to BCP for visiting our main office recently as part of our annual monitoring visit!

The inspector viewed client files including person-centred care plans, and risk assessments. Staff files and professional feedback. We were delighted to receive such positive and encouraging feedback.

It’s always great to have the opportunity to reflect on our work and hear that what we’re doing is making a huge difference❤️

February was chosen back in 2005 to celebrate the abolition of Section 28.

The theme for 2026 is and celebrates the contributions of LGBT+ people across these fields, but also to raise awareness of the misapplication of science and its impact on LGBT+ identity.

✌🏻 is celebrated annually and forms part of Random Acts of Kindness week, which encourages us all to remember the impact we can have of each others lives if we were to practice small and thoughtful acts of kindness whenever we can.
