Mary Magdalene has been so profoundly present from the days leading up to her feast day of the 22nd July all the way through to now, and she carried with her a message I know I personally needed and I feel it is important for it to be shared ā¤ļø
Magdalene offers you a reminder at this time to give compassion to yourself š¹
āØWe are globally, collectively, and personally going through an incredibly intense time with a lot of challenges that we are faced with.
The things we often do when we feel overwhelmed and are carrying too much? Beat ourselves up, criticise ourselves, or burn out.
Instead, we can offer ourselves this compassion, just like what you would offer a friend or loved one who you saw carrying all that you are carrying š„°
āØFor me personally, this has looked like a lot of rest whilst Iāve been facing some health challenges.
The hardest piece for me of this is not feeling guilty and beating myself up for ādoing nothingā - but over this time where I have felt Magdaleneās presence so strongly, I have gone to push through and heard her voice repeating the word ācompassionā so gently, so lovingly, and it has allowed me to drop back into restful, self-nurturing things.
It has allowed me to rest, to heal, to take time to prioritise my health and wellbeing, and to choose myself more wholly, more lovingly, more compassionately than I have maybe ever.
I wanted to share this beautiful blessing of Magdaleneās compassion with you, and invite you to call to her to support you in those tender places.
With love, always,
Darcie
