So obviously classes have ceased running by the government recommendation and blocks will freeze.
I thank you all for your support over the last few months and I’ve enjoyed meeting you all.
Please stay at home if at all possible and help the NHS do a very difficult job.
Roll out your mat at home and do some pilates exercises if you can.
Message me on here if you are alone or anxious and need to chat. Let’s all support each other at this difficult time in hope we can come back together soon in brighter days.

In light of safeguarding ourselves and others from the Coronavirus please bring your own mat to classes as I will not be providing any mats or blocks in classes at the moment.
Also please wash hands when you enter the building and use your own hand gel if you have some or hand wipes. (I am trying to get hold of some)
If you need a block or a mat or a strap for classes please pop to TK Max or Argos or most sports direct shops and you will be able to purchase these items. Alternatively maybe bring a cushion from home.
Classes will run as normal until further notice and government advise.
If you are returning from overseas please email me and do not come to classes until you have self isolated.
Let’s do our best to keep everyone safe and well, fit and healthy.

What a wonderful last yin class today to finish the year off.
As I pause and give back now to myself for two weeks, i would like to thank everyone who has come and shared space with me in my classes over the year.
So many wonderful souls I meet each week and I feel privileged to be able to share my yoga with you all. The poem below was my close of practice today in meditation, reminding us to pause, breathe and slow down.

I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a New Year filled with love and light and positivity.

Yin Yoga provides an opportunity to slow down, to go within and to go deep. On a mental and emotional level a yin practice allows the body to drop down into the parasympathetic system, the rest and digest system. It is a very grounding, calming, and soothing practice.
What to Expect
Yin yoga is a slow paced style of yoga where the postures are held for longer, anywhere from 5 minutes to 7 minutes, yin yoga targets and stretches the deep connective tissues, ligaments and joints.
Normally floor based allowing the body to feel supported and the mind to still. We finish with a mindful meditation/yogic sleep. 🙏🏻
