Heading in to 2026 and the madness of new year resolutions and we find ourselves back in a lounge 😀 I have been wondering a lot about direction, money, and all that jazz but in the end it's not what you do, it's the way that you do it that creates the results. Amazing how some of our greatest wisdom comes in the lyrics of a song. 😀 So every where I've been judging myself quietly for wasting time, f**k that!!! I'm recognising that it helps me feel good and I love the energy it brings into my life!!!!😎😎😎

Well what a day it's been. Marakesh is a sight to behold and the noise is sizzling. The Maroccons have so much to teach us English about the value of money, the art of barter and what that truly means. We went in with eyes wide open and the leasoms learnt prove home much more we can learn about offers and deals, haggling and obligation. All in all the experience was well worth while although expensive to the unwarry. So today we learn the true power of saying no. Let's see if we remember it tomorow. 😀

Nice slow day today. Walk along the beach followed by coffee, followed by the walk back to the marina and finishing off with lunch in a lovely little cafe. Soup, a toast dish and Maroccan Tea. It was wonderfully simple but beautifully presented ❤️
It got me thinking how magic becomes science when ritual becomes routine. Here for instance, they take time to pour the tea into the glass, then back into the tea pot, into glass to teapot and so on for 3 to 5 times. There is an art to it but it serves the function of fully mixing sugar or honey with the tea. It's very practical, it has a function but the way it is done pouring from a height without spilling a drop is beautiful to behold, creating ritual and magic out of practical function ✨️🌀
We truly are an amazing species, something we should celebrate more. Our music, our art, our creativity. All gifts from "God" to be shared as our contribution to the world. "Peace be with you!"💫🙏❤️

So wandering through the market in Agadir yesterday both Julie and i realized that we are more about the experience than about the acquisition of things 😍 There really was nothing we wanted to buy but the sights, the sounds, the smells and the energy was something to behold 🤩 We did barter for a scarf and discovered that the Maroccans are well practiced in this art 🤪 But we had such a laugh 😂 Highly recommend booking city tours as its a great way to experience a culture without getting too far out of your depth 😜 and we learnt so much from our guide ❤️
