Chemical Peels – Safety and What to Expect

Chemical peels are a safe and effective way to improve skin texture, clarity and radiance. They stimulate healthy renewal in the deeper layers of the skin without invasive procedures.

It is completely normal for some clients to experience mild erythema (temporary redness) following a peel. This is simply a sign of increased circulation and the skin responding to treatment. Redness usually settles within 4 hours.

Correct aftercare is important to protect the skin as it renews. I will always provide full guidance tailored to your skin, including SPF protection and avoiding heat, exercise and active ingredients for a short period after treatment.

Chemical peels are suitable for a wide range of skin concerns and are not a scary treatment. When performed professionally with high-quality products, they deliver impressive results safely and comfortably.
