🚢 Special Dover Harbour Tour – See the Galeón Andalucía! 🌊

Join Wetwheels South East for a unique accessible boating experience on Thursday 7th August at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM.

Step aboard for a tour of Dover Harbour and get up close to the stunning Galeón Andalucía – a magnificent Spanish tall ship visiting the Port of Dover for just five days!

🛳 This impressive replica of a 16th–18th century Spanish galleon is a floating museum made from over 500 tons of wood, with six incredible decks to marvel at from the water.

We were joined today by two groups from Pegasus Playscheme is a Registered Charity , who join us regularly each year. They run an AWESOME playscheme for children in the local area each summer.

We have been blown away (not by the wind) but by the welcome and amazing community spirit from all those at Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club and Premier Sovereign Harbour.

We had wonderful pesky pirates from Children With Cancer Fund, Inspire Sussex, Surrey Choices, Whizz Kidz and With Ibby CIC.

Thank you Wetwheels Solent for doing the first week, now the batten has been handed over and we look forward to our week here in Eastbourne!

We’ve arrived in Premier Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne ready for a week of outreach!

With a perfect place to stay including over very own jetty! We did a litter pick on our journey, rescuing this Zero balloon from the sea! We have made sure it’s been disposed of properly!

Looking forward to welcoming everyone onboard including some pesky pirates on Sunday!

Our Story

Launched in April 2018, Wetwheels South East became the fourth regional operator for the national disability power boating charity Wetwheels Foundation.

Wetwheels South East has her home in the Port of Dover, so perfectly positioned to operate across the region, from Eastbourne to Central London including the Medway in to Maidstone.

The Wetwheels experience is designed to enable every disabled or disadvantaged person the chance to experience the excitement of power boating. Wetwheels South East is truly unique by being fully wheel chair accessible, not only as a passenger but also as the skipper.....every body gets the chance to drive!

We depend on the goodwill of our wonderfully experienced volunteers and generous donations to bring Wetwheels to you. So if you would like to be part of a Wetwheels experience, it doesn't matter if you're young or old; Just get in touch with Sally in the office to arrange your visit.
