What a lovely day we've had today!
We started off the morning with a game of giant snakes and ladders which Kath won 👏 Then we had a little outing to see and pet the lambs which were only born late wednesday night 😍 Thank you to The Field for allowing us to do this, the residents loved it and we are organising to go back with other residents who didnt get to go today 🐑

World Book Day! Today we celebrated with Paddington Bear theme! We all dressed up like him, made marmalade sandwiches (john doesnt like marmalade so opted for jam!) 😅 talked about our favourite books that we could remember, john read us the whole book of paddington then we got involved with on tele!

Great time at Bingo this morning we had so many residence came to play and a few who wanted to see what we were doing. The choice of music was Elvis which the ladies loved. Our Winners today were - Lines - Brian, Janet, Mary & John. Full Houses - Janet, Brian x 2, John, Barb & Sylvia More fun to come next week. ❤️

🌼 🐉 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Happy st David’s day from Laureston House 🌼 🐉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 A few of us got our brains busy and got stuck into a st David’s day quiz it was dragons vs daffodils we all learnt many facts and then enjoyed a nice cuppa afterwards with a few tasty biscuits 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Active Friday!
So ive now added some photos of our daffodils from yesterday which look really lovely! (Even if the suns not coming through them today!🌧) so lovely that the residents want to make some more to fill the other windows 🥰
Then we had our active friday.. another new game today! Chair Excersize Bingo! Which we made all by ourselves! 😅 residents always love bingo so its a good excuse to add excersize! Jan loved this!

St Davids Day Crafts 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
We started off the day by putting up some decorations in prep for St. Davids day sunday and then john and june came to the dining room to make daffodil suncatchers! Janet made hers in the lounge and then we had 2 little visitors Autumn & Grace who came to help and made their own suncatchers 🥰 pictures to follow tomorrow of them up on our window 🙂
