Great morning of Bingo today so lovely to see so many residence waiting to play. Certainly made me jump when 3 called out a full house at the same time did make me jump. Our winners today were - Lines - Vera, Brian & Kath. Full Houses - Janet x 3, Brian x 2 & John. Looking forward to next weeks game, it will be on the Friday again next week. ❤️

Quiz Day! Our residents love a quiz day.. and these sorts of quizzes spark really good conversations! Everyone was really astonished buy the price of things nowadays to how they where in the 80s. ( So was i!)
They all really know their sweets too, and all spoke about thier favourite sweets as kids.

Today we switched it up, the residents aren't feeling Arts and Crafts at the moment and thats fine! So we had a games day! Everyone really enjoyed it, it was John and Des's first time playing connect 4 which they both took too really well and played a few rounds of. Janet won all her games of connect 4 and dominoes and Shirley was our winner of Snakes and Ladders (Janet's idea to play and favourite) and our mary sat happily knitting away for Halloween 🎃

Appreciation Day! Today we spent the morning having the most wonderful chats, discussing what we are most appreciative for. There were some really lovely answers! 🥰 Kath and John were very much in awe of eachother today aswell which was so nice to see, even discussing where they would go for dinner 🍽 😄
We also very generously had some Hope magazines and New testaments delivered today which some of the residents took a shine to!

What a wet and windy morning we had! 🌧 we changed things up today until our glue gun arrives.. so today we had Mary still going strong with her halloween table cloth that shes knitting, Shirley and Janet completed wordsearches (i need to get Janet some harder ones apparently! 😅) Then we had John, Barbra, Doreen and myself try and complete a 500 piece puzzle! It was very hard and we cant wait to finish it..but maybe we should keep to 100 pieces for now 😅😆 👏

Today we kicked off the morning by finishing our Autumn Wreaths!
Then we played The Price Is Right.. which sparked great conversations about comparing the 70's to today's prices of things.
We then finished off with some games so we played bowling and darts 🎳🎯

What horrible weather today! Definitely had an impact on our residents today! Many choosing to be comfy and chill out in there own rooms or napping. But in-between all that some of them got creative in thier rooms and for us that were in the living room we coloured in our Autumn leaves ready for our Wreath tomorrow..whilst discussing how cold but beautiful Scotland is and watching Homes under the hammer discussing all our homes 🏡

Another lovely day of bingo, great music which Shirley sang just about all the lyrics bless her. Our winners were - Lines - Mary, Brian, Vera and Barbara. Full Houses - Brian, Ann and Barbara. The ladies had their hair done by the lovely Nicky. Looking forward too another lovely morning of Bingo next week. ❤️

Cookie Baking Today 😋 🍪 John and Brian enjoyed watching and having a chin wag whilst us ladies all enjoyed weighing, mixing and making sultana cookies! Kath was her cheeky self! Doreen had a good laugh, barb was her happy smiley self and Vera was as chatty as ever! 🥰

Hello Autumn! 🍁🍂 Unfortunately its that timw of year where darker, colder days are coming.. so we made a start on getting the home autumn ready!
Rita and Doreen loved the little touches to the dining room today even wanting them in their own rooms.
And then we had G-fitness! Considering the weather everyone was in great spirits and really getting into their excersizes! And Our Mary made a start on crocheting a Halloween table cover for us.. we cant wait to see the end result! 🥰
