Another step closer 🚴

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded our first grant to run our weekly adapted cycling sessions at Alive Lynnsport in Kings Lynn. We are so grateful to Love Norfolk 2025 and the Flux Family Fund for supporting our project. It's amazing to know others are as passionate as we are about bringing more adapted sports to the Kings Lynn area. Everyone has the fundamental right to access sports, to be part of its community and to enjoy the health and social benefits it brings. We can't wait to get started.

A massive thank you to Workstories for their donation of our fantastic storage container. Enough room for our adapted bikes and more!

Another massive thank you goes to Tommy at Lynnsport in Kings Lynn for all your support so far and more importantly for allowing us to have our bikes in the perfect spot right next to the athletics track.

They say it takes a village…

Huge thank you to Wheels For All in Warrington for their donation of 8 adapted bikes for our inclusive cycling project. We are also so very grateful to the team at Workstories for donating their lorry and driver to collect them for us, quite some journey!

Another step, or should I say “peddle”, closer to the start up of our cycling club! 🙌 🚲 🤩

This is so exciting. We’re working really hard to get our Inclusive Cycling Club up and running by May this year 🙌

Fantastic News!
The Adapted Sports Hub Trust has been awarded a wonderful grant of £50,000 from Norfolk Community Foundation.
This is a great start to our serious fundraising campaign for this amazing project. The Hub will engage with a whole variety of people in the community, to support them to become fitter, more active and have fun.
We are also going to start an accessible cycling club for all at Lynnsport, before the hub is built and will be keeping everyone informed of its progress and start dates.

Whether you're young or old, a seasoned runner or just getting started, a 10k run is a fantastic goal to set. It's not just about the finish line, it's about the journey and the sense of achievement that comes with pushing your limits.
Imagine crossing that finish line, knowing you've accomplished something significant. The cheers of the crowd, the high-fives from fellow runners, and the knowledge that you've contributed to a worthy cause like Little Discoverers make it all worthwhile.
So, lace up your running shoes, grab a friend, and join us for the GEAR 10k run. Together, let's make this an event to remember. Whether you run, jog, or walk, your participation matters. Let's support each other, have fun, and achieve great things!

Still catching up and re watching some of the many insightful presentations given at the Clinical Excellence Summit a few weeks back.
An online international summit for paediatric therapists. Presentations and case studies from global clinical experts, academic researchers, expert parents and people with lived experience of neurodisability.

This one-of-a-kind summit took a deep dive into cutting-edge science and innovative treatments for children with neuromotor disabilities through a clinician-first lens.

I have great interest in vision and its impact on movement and Dr Randy Shulmans’ presentation Beyond Vision - A Multisensory Model offered a deeper understanding of this.

Vision is integral to feedback to all other systems and the multisensory model supports children to expand their awareness and learning. Love her quote… “What we see is what we be”

Ecstatic to announce planning permission has been granted for the Adapted Sports Hub on the Lynn Sport site in Kings Lynn. This marks a significant milestone and we can now progress to the build phase for this much needed project.

At the very heart of this mission is that every child, family and carer have a fundamental right to access sport. This facility will feature specialised spaces and state of the art amenities, providing unrestricted access to sports and community activities for individuals with additional learning or support needs, disabilities and the wider community.

Getting to this point would not have been possible without your support and generous donations but we still have a long way to go to complete this £3million project. If you are interested in volunteering, fundraising or donating, please get in touch.

The Adapted Sports Hub Trust evolved from the partnership and collaboration of 3 local community organisations; Pelicans Hockey Club, Little Discoverers & Little Miracles. As founding Trustees and through our connections to the local community, we had come to realise that there was no such facility....
