Our activity boards for March are all finished and ready, giving residents plenty to look forward to throughout the month 🎨📅

To celebrate, everyone enjoyed a delicious treat of classic fish and chips from the local chippy 🐟🍟 — always a firm favourite! There were lots of smiles, happy conversations, and empty plates all round.

We had a very pleasant day out today, taking Eve and Jocelyn to King’s Lynn by train. We enjoyed some relaxed shopping and a lovely lunch together. On our return, the Joules Band entertained the other residents with their singing, which was a delightful and uplifting way to end the day. Also a big thank you to mel for coming in on your day off to help 😀

A lovely day at our home today!

This morning we took part in some Lead exercises with the lovely Val, getting everyone moving and smiling. 💪

This afternoon we enjoyed a calmer pace with some 1-to-1 time, started a brand-new jigsaw 🧩, and one of our wonderful residents picked up their knitting again – it was so lovely to see! 🧶

We are pleased to announce our Mother’s Day Pamper Hamper raffle.
Raffle strips are available at £2 per strip, with all proceeds going towards our activity fund.

Lovely Day Full of Activities! 🌿

This morning, we enjoyed a 1-to-1 breezy trip out to Tesco and the local library, making the most of the fresh air and getting out into the community. Back at home, residents were also treated to having their hair done, leaving everyone feeling relaxed and pampered ✂️✨

A big thank you to Brian, who kindly donated some garden equipment for our residents to use – we can’t wait to put it to good use in the garden 🌼🧤

This afternoon, we got creative with a weaving activity using animal cut-outs, which everyone really enjoyed 🐶🦋

This morning we celebrated an incredible milestone as one of our wonderful residents turned 100 years young. Surrounded by smiles, love, and plenty of cake, it was a joy to honour such an amazing life and century of memories. 🥳🎂

As if that wasn’t special enough, the afternoon brought a delightful surprise — a visit from some gentle, friendly therapy donkeys! 🫏💛 They brought laughter, calm, and lots of cuddles, lifting everyone’s spirits and making the day even more memorable.

A day full of milestones, smiles, and magical moments we’ll be talking about for a long time to come 💖

Our residents enjoyed spending some quiet time together working on a jigsaw, sharing stories and laughter as each piece came together. It’s always wonderful to see the concentration and teamwork around the table 🧩

After lunch, we got our hands a little messy and sowed lots of seeds ready for the months ahead. We even had some very special little helpers join us, which made the afternoon extra special! 🌱💚
