This morning our residents enjoyed a lovely pamper session having their nails done 💅✨

We were then delighted to welcome a special visit from Poppy, who brought lots of smiles and joy 🐾❤️

After lunch, we made the most of the beautiful weather by spending some relaxing time out in the garden 🌸☀️

We finished the day by coming inside for a nice cup of tea and some biscuits — the perfect way to unwind ☕🍪

We’re delighted to introduce the newest member of our team at Diamond House, our new Home Manager, Donna Lee! 🎉
Donna brings with her over 12 years of experience as a care home manager, and an incredible 30 years working across all aspects of care. Her journey through the sector has given her a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership that will be invaluable to our residents, families, and team.

We’ve had a lovely start to the day here at the home! Our residents really enjoyed their weekly sparkle session, followed by some well-deserved pampering with their hair done ✨💇‍♀️

After a delicious lunch, the afternoon was filled with creativity as we made some beautiful jewellery pieces together 💎 Alongside plenty of smiles, there was of course a cup of tea and some tasty cake to enjoy ☕🍰

To round off the day, we headed outside to water the garden and soak up some fresh air 🌼🌿

This morning we enjoyed some lovely one-to-one time with our residents. Ken has now moved into his new room with a beautiful garden view, where he can relax and enjoy watching the birds feeding 🐦🌿

At lunchtime, we took one of our residents out for a meal, which was thoroughly enjoyed.

This afternoon was filled with fun as we played bingo together, with lots of laughter and smiles all around 😊

We finished off the day in the best way — with a warm cup of tea and biscuits ☕Ken also had a lovely visit from Poppy the dog today 🐶💛

He really enjoyed the company, with plenty of smiles and gentle fuss. Visits like these always bring so much joy and comfort to our residents, and it was wonderful to see how happy it made him 😊

Today we celebrated Margaret's birthday with lots of smiles, making it a lovely start to the day 🎂🎉

After the celebrations, we spent the morning creating posters for our VE Day coffee morning on May 8th. We would love to welcome all families and friends to join us—every penny raised will be donated to the Royal British Legion 🇬🇧

This afternoon, we enjoyed a church service followed by tea and cake, bringing a calm and comforting end to a wonderful day ☕💛

What a wonderfully busy and fulfilling morning here at the care home! 🌼

Our residents started the day with visits from the chiropodist and eye specialist, making sure everyone is feeling comfortable and well cared for. After a lovely lunch together, we made the most of the beautiful sunshine by heading out into the garden. 🌞

There, residents enjoyed planting bulbs into bigger pots, getting their hands in the soil and sharing plenty of smiles along the way. We finished the day in the best way possible — relaxing with a warm cup of tea and some delicious cake. ☕🍰

This morning at the care home we had some wonderful news — Tia welcomed her beautiful baby boy on Easter Sunday 💙 He weighed 6lb 7oz, and both mum and baby are doing well.

Later in the day, Jo enjoyed reading the Weekly Sparkle, followed by a lovely afternoon of crafts. We made some adorable sheep using toilet roll middles and cotton balls while enjoying a cup of tea and some chocolate.

To finish the day, we spent some time in the garden watering the plants and potatoes, which are looking fantastic!

🏡💛 A very special day at the care home today…

We brought the grandchildren in to work and together they handed out Easter eggs to all our wonderful residents 🐣🍫

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and lovely moments shared between generations. It’s days like these that remind us how important simple acts of kindness can be 💕

What a fantastic day we’ve had at the care home! 🌟

We started the morning with a big clear-out, getting everything fresh, tidy, and sparkling ✨ There’s nothing like a good refresh to lift everyone’s spirits!

After lunch, the fun really began as we baked some delicious chocolate cupcakes 🧁 Everyone had a wonderful time decorating them with lots of creativity (and a few extra sprinkles!), before sitting down together to enjoy them with a lovely cup of tea ☕💛

But the biggest highlight of all… we made it into the Lynn News! 📰🎉 We are so proud and excited to see ourselves featured!

A lovely mix of calm and fun today 😊

This morning was spent enjoying some one-to-one time with Jocelyn, followed by a lively afternoon filled with multiple rounds of bingo. There may have been a little bit of cheeky cheating involved… but all in good spirits!

Keith managed to win himself a bag of sweets (we’ll let you decide if it was skill or strategy 😉), and the room was full of laughter, smiles, and plenty of tea and cake.

Days like these are what it’s all about 💛

This morning we spent some time updating our new weekly planners and refreshing the boards, getting everything organised for the week ahead.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a lovely arts and crafts session, filled with lots of laughter and creativity. Everyone got involved in making some beautiful, colourful Easter decorations, which have really brightened up the home 🐣🌸

They are truly appreciated and will bring so much comfort and warmth to everyone here. Your kindness and time mean the world to us all.

A special thank you as well to the lovely lady who delivered them to our home on behalf of Donkeys for Therapy – we are so grateful for your support and generosity 🫏✨
