Due to the impending storm and the red weather warning the Lab will be closed tomorrow Friday 24th.
We will reopen Monday 27th and resume our collection and delivery service to surgeries.

We are hiring.

We are looking to hire an experienced and registered prosthetic technician to work in a small but busy laboratory on the outskirts of Downpatrick.

The ideal candidate would be able to carry out all aspects of denture production to a high standard and to work unsupervised. Other tasks would be to produce and finish various thermoformed devices, again to a high standard.
Communicate with surgeries in a confident and knowledgeable manner.
Carry out other laboratory tasks.
On occasion do deliveries so a clean driving license would be required.
Registration with the GDC essential and be up to date with CPD in the current cycle.

We would also consider a laboratory assistant whose duties would be to:
- Pour and trim impressions.
- Flask pack process and polish dentures.
- Produce thermoformed devices.
- And to maintain general cleanliness of the production areas.

Salary dependent on experience and ability.

RIP Gertie.
Thoughts and prayers with our Eddie and family 💔

CRANGLE Gertie, 4 Carriff Court, Kilclief, Strangford died peacefully at home, Friday 1 March surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of Eddie, loving mother of Danny, Edward, Deborah and Shaun and the late baby Catherine, much loved mother-in-law of Marguerite, Elaine, Jude and Sinead, devoted grandmother of Matthew, Dylan, Oisin, Calum, Ciaràn, Ryan, Aaròn, Rebecca, Orlaith and Mollie, beloved great-grandmother of Caden and much loved sister of Dickie, Kathleen, Mary, Eddie, Laurence, Dolores, Raymond, Margo and Billy and the late Jacqueline, Patricia and Betty.

Gertie is reposing in Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY on Friday from 3pm with the family in attendance daily from 6-9pm (Friday) and Saturday onwards from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.

Gertie will leave the funeral home on Sunday 3 March at 2.30 pm to be received into St Patrick's Church, Saul at 3pm. Gertie's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday 4 March at 11.30 am with cremation on Wednesday 6 March at 11:20am at Roselawn.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired to MNDA and Marie Curie c/o the family.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters and large circle of family and friends.
