We the family of the late Rita McConvey wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

Thank you to the doctors at Meadowlands Surgery, the District Nursing Team, Anne’s Home Care Staff and McNally’s Pharmacy for all their help and compassionate care to Rita during her illness.

Thanks to all those friends and neighbours who paid their respect at her wake and funeral. To those who sent thoughtful cards, messages of condolences, gifts and flowers. Your kindness is very much appreciated.

A special word of thanks to Fr Vincent McKay for the beautiful Requiem Mass and his words of comfort during this sad time. Thanks to Saffyre for their beautiful music during the mass and to Sean McAlea (Parish Sacristan), Sally Montgomery (Parish Eucharistic Minister) and John Murray (Parish Funeral Ministry) for their support and kindness.

Also, a word of thanks to the staff of French's Cafe & Bistro, Clough for supplying the food and refreshments after the funeral and thanks to Mary McCargo and Maureen McCargo at Dunsford Cross Community Resource Centre for the use of their facilities.

We, Seamus, Bronagh, Michael and families would like to express our deep appreciation to all those who have supported us during the sad loss of our sister, aunt and special friend. Your kindness, thoughts, kind words, prayers, and visits to the house have been a great comfort to us all. Thank you to all who donated to Mainstay DRP in memory of Angela.

Our deepest gratitude to Orchard Grove for their care and attention and to the Ambulance Staff, staff at Dundonald Hospital Resuscitation Unit and in Ward 4D. Thank you also to Fr McCann who attended to Angela in hospital.

Particular thanks to Fr Brian Brown for the beautiful Reception to Chapel service and to Dr Derek Kearney for the Requiem Mass and his words of comfort during this sad time. Thanks also to Bernie Campbell for the beautiful singing.

To all those who attended the wake, removal, Reception to Chapel and Requiem Mass, sent mass and sympathy cards, made a donation, and left heartfelt messages online. Thank you, it means a lot to us all.

Kevin‘s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home, 24 English Street, Downpatrick BT30 6AB with the family in attendance on Friday, 2nd January 2026 between 7 pm - 8 pm and Saturday 3rd January 2026 between 2pm - 3pm. Removal to St Joseph's Church Ballycruttle arriving at 4 pm, Saturday. Funeral Mass on Sunday 4th January at 12 noon.

Cherished grandmother to Emma, Maria, Madeleine, Ciara, Enya, Meabh, Grace and Thomas. Great grandmother to Archie. Funeral from her late residence, 33a Clanvaraghan Road, on Sunday 4th January 2026 at 11.45am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Mary of the Angels Church, Clanvaraghan. Interment afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Burren. St Anthony of Padua pray for her.
