Dearly beloved wife of James.
Much loved sister of Mary, Bridie, Kathleen, Bernie, Veronica and the late Rita. Dear sister-in-law aunt and great aunt.

Dympna’s remains will be reposing at her late residence from 2pm on Tuesday 14th April 2026. Family and friends welcome.

Funeral from her late residence, 3 Tyrella View, Ballykinlar, BT30 8BP on Wednesday 15th April at 1pm for 1.30pm Requiem Mass at St Patrick and Saint Joseph Church Ballykinlar. Interment afterwards at Saint Patrick’s Church cemetery Ballygalget.

House private on the morning of the funeral.

Died 12th April 2026 peacefully at the Downe Hospital.

Husband of Olive and loving father to Tracy, Damien, Darren, Kathy, Ciara & Maria. Dear father-in-law to Liam, James, Caolan and Ciaran. Cherished grandfather of Daire and Conall. Much loved brother of Gerry, Lecky, Marie, Paul, Ricky, Libby and the late John. Dear friend to many.

Kieran's remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home, 24 English Street, Downpatrick with the family in attendance on Wednesday 15th April 2026 between 6pm-8pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday 16th April 2026 at 10am in St Patrick's Church, Downpatrick. Interment afterwards in Struell Cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Died 12 April 2026 peacefully at kings Castle Nursing Home.

Dearly beloved Husband of the late Clare. Much loved brother of Seamus and the late Joe, Rosaleen and Anne. Cherished Uncle and friend to many.

Patrick’s remains will be reposing in Trinity Columbarium Chapel (former Convent adjacent Saint Patrick’s Church Downpatrick) with the family in attendance on Monday 13 April between 6 pm - 8 pm and on Tuesday 4 pm - 5:30 pm. Removal to Saint Patrick’s Church Downpatrick on Tuesday 14 April arriving at 6 pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday 15 April at 11 am. Interment afterwards in Struell Cemetery.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Hugh. Loving mother to Helen, Brian and the late Paul. Dear mother-in-law of Barney, Ainé and Jean. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Danielle, Steven, Conor, Brendan and Catriona. Adored great grandmother.

Funeral from her late residence 184 Newcastle Road, Seaforde BT30 8NZ on Saturday 11 April 2026 at 9.00 am for 9.30 am Requiem Mass in St Macartan’s Church Loughinisland. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to do so from 6pm - 10pm. Thursday 9th and from 11am - 9pm Friday 10th April.

Beloved wife of the late Oliver. Loving mother of Paschal, Eileen, Christina, Robert, Grainne and Joseph. A cherished mother in law and devoted grandmother. Dear sister of Mary, Danny, Imelda, Peggy, Noreen, Carmel and the late Eileen, Anna, Madeline, Ursula and Brendan RIP.

Wake commencing at her late home, 68 Minerstown Road, Downpatrick, on Thursday 9th April 3pm to 9pm and Friday 10th April 1pm to 9pm.

Funeral on Saturday 11th April, leaving her late home at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Killough. Interment immediately afterwards in Rossglass Cemetery.

Margaret Fitzsimons

We the Family of Margaret Fitzsimons (Nee Polly), would like to express our thanks and gratitude to family, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us on the recent loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and aunt.

A special thank you to all who called to the house, sent mass cards and sympathy cards or sent messages of condolence.

Thank you to the Down Community Care team for the compassion and care shown to Mum throughout the years.

A special thank you to Fr Aidan Brankin and Jackie Breen for conducting the requiem mass and for their comfort and guidance.

Thank you to Sara McVeigh for her beautiful music at the Requiem Mass.

Thank you also to Ciaran Fitzpatrick and his team at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

It is almost impossible to thank everyone, however, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Marian Teggart

We, the family of the late Marian Teggart, wish to pass on our sincere thanks and gratitude to family, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us during the sad loss of a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend.

Thank you to Mary and all the staff at Kings Castle, who provided care and support to Marian during her illness. Thank you to those who attended the house and funeral and to those who sent cards and messages; thank you for your comforting words and kindness.

Thank you to Very Rev Aidan Brankin PP for the Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Bernie Campbell for the beautiful singing.

A special thanks to those who donated to Alzheimer’s Society.

Beloved son of Tom and the late Elizabeth. Loving father to Lucy and Jack. Much loved brother of Brendan, Jason and Lee. Cherished uncle to Rhys, Kieran, Iain, Chloe and Joshua.

Shane’s remains will repose at his late residence 9 Martin Green, Shrigley on Friday 10th April 2026 from 2.00pm. His remains will then leave on Saturday morning at 9.00am to arrive at Roselawn Crematorium for a 10.00am Funeral Service.

‘The Lord is my Shepherd, There is nothing I shall want.’

Died 6th April 2026 peacefully at his late residence.

Much loved father to Niall and Katie. Cherished grandfather, dear brother of Michael, Paul, Anne and Leonard. Much loved uncle and friend.

John’s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home, 24 English Street, Downpatrick with family in attendance from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Thursday 9th April.

His remains will then leave on Friday 10th April to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Saul for 1pm Requiem Mass followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his loving family circle.
