💫 Powder Brow Colour Boost – Keeping You looking Fresh and Flawless
Over time, all semi permanent makeup fades naturally and whether its brows, liner or lips. A colour boost is a maintenance treatment designed to refresh, revive, and perfect your brows or lips once the pigment has lightened or softened.
Think of it as a refresh appointment that keeps your everything looking beautifully defined, without having to start from scratch.
What Happens During a Colour Boost?
During your colour boost, I will first assess the current colour, shape, and overall condition of the area. The base from your original treatment is already there, therefore
-I may need to reapply pigment to faded areas to even out tone and density
-Adjust the colour slightly for example making it warmer, cooler
-Refine or subtly enhance the shape, if needed
The process is usually quicker and gentler than your initial appointment, with minimal discomfort and a much shorter healing time.
When to Book Your Colour Boost?
Everyone’s skin retains pigment differently, but most clients need a colour boost 12-18 months plus from the original appointment to keep their PMU looking fresh and defined.
You may find you need one a little sooner if:
-You have oily or combination skin
-You spend a lot of time in the sun
-You use active skincare products like retinol, glycolic acid, or exfoliating treatments
-You prefer your PMU to look more bold or filled in
Waiting too long, can mean your brows or lips have faded too much, which may require a new full treatment rather than a simple refresh.
Why a Colour Boost Is Important?
A colour boost keeps your PMU
-Looking newly done and helps restore depth, shape, and definition
-Reduces your need for daily brow or lip colour
-Extends the lifespan of your original powder brow or Lip Blush investment.
If your brows or lips are looking a little lighter or less crisp than they used to, it’s the perfect time to book your colour boost and fall back in love with your PMU again.
