This theme is close to our hearts as our chefs regularly bake personalised birthday cakes for residents, celebrating their favourite flavours, memories, and moments. 💜

Replenishing our garden plants and in full swing for CC in Bloom! 🌸🌿 We got stuck in making the front of our home bright and welcoming. Residents chose beautiful shades of purple 💜 and our head gardener “ Pam” guided us on where each plant should go. A lovely team effort 😊🌼

IceCream Wednesday, What a treat! 🍦 A visit from the ice cream van in the sunshine ☀️ Residents and staff enjoyed a Mr Whippy together.💛 Our resident Angela said “ I haven’t had a 99 from an ice cream van for years”
🍦A big thank you to Nick from SunWhip for making it possible.
Nick will be visiting us on the last Wednesday of every month until September at 2pm – feel free to join us.

Such a lovely day in the garden, We were joined by residents and staff from our sister home,Westbury Court Care & Nursing Home 🌿☀️
We spent the morning painting wind chimes and bird feeders, with plenty of laughter and getting to know each other 😊🎨
The sunshine made it even better, so we enjoyed lunch outside together, making the most of the fresh air 🌸💛

🎨Crafting Promotes our creativity, lifts mood, and encourages conversation. The fiddly bits, like placing feathers and decorations, are great for fine motor skills and keeping our hands active too. 🌼👐

A wonderful afternoon with the children from Draycott & Rodney Stoke First School! 📚🌟
They were so well-behaved, polite, and an absolute joy to spend time with Thank you for visiting us 😊👏 We were lucky to hear them all sing “Spring Chicken” so beautifully. We then enjoyed some easter crafts and an egg hunt!
We can’t wait to welcome you all back again soon!
