Our grounds are open seven days a week at East Riding Crematorium. This Saturday morning at the crem , the sun may not be shining yet but the birds are singing and the ducks are out and about.
Jonathan , our Business Leader is working today and is on hand to meet anyone who pops up and needs any information or just a chat ! Please feel free to say hello should you see him around the grounds .

When out and about within our grounds you will notice our example memorials . These are displayed to help families make a choice on which of our many memorials are the right one for them and their loved one.
We have also placed out signs with QR codes on , enabling visitors to scan for further information. If QR codes are all a bit too technical and modern ,then of course we would love you to pop in and speak to Katy our dedicated memorial consultant, or give her a call on 01377 267604 .

Yesterday, Katy visited Grenoside Crematorium for a Memorial Consultants meeting and met with other members, including Sara from Haltemprice Crematorium and Louise from Wear Valley Crematorium. It is becoming more and more popular to have pre paid funerals sorted, and we're seeing many of you asking about having your ashes here with us at East Riding Crematorium within our Memorial Gardens. All our gardens are maintained by our staff, which many of you will recognise as familiar faces. The care and upkeep of your choosen Memorial is all included, so you can have peace of mind you or your loved ones are well looked after now and in the future.Our gardening team maintain the grounds and staff ensure that memorials are kept clean daily ensuring you and your loved ones can truly reflect and remember when visiting.

We are pleased to announce that starting from 5th July there will be members of staff available to assist you with any queries you may have on Saturdays. We understand how difficult it can be to make an appointment or speak to a staff member during the week. Today was Dave’s last day at the crem before he sadly left for pastures new . Not something he planned or we expected .
Thanks Dave for everything you’ve done, for fitting in so well to our team , for the hard work in the memorial gardens , hospitality and in the office and especially for the lovely chocolate cakes !

Due to hot weather, we do our best to keep our chapel cool, but with a full day of services and high temperatures expected, please come prepared with appropriate clothing and water bottles. It's such a privilege when families choose us as a final resting place for their loved ones. So much so, over the years, our dedicated team have also chosen areas within our Memorial Gardens for late family members. On Sunday, it was lovely to get a chance to catch up over a cup of tea with many of you who have loved ones with us, hearing the stories about them. We had lots of lovely compliments on the gardens that have blossomed. It's nice hearing how reassured you feel knowing your loved one is in our care and how coming up to the memorial gardens gives you a chance for a moment to reflect.
