THE OLIVE TREE WILL CLOSE FOR BUSINESS ON THURSDAY 25TH JUNE 2026
This has been a very hard decision for me to make after being in business for over 15 years which has enabled me to meet some of you wonderful people and employ some wonderful therapists.
Zoe, Lucy and I have built up some amazing relationships with you over these years and some feel like part of our little family here at The Olive Tree .
HISTORY
Many of you know that I lost my father, Tom to Cancer two years in July which was a huge shock. We did have the opportunity to discuss a two year plan of action together with regards to my future. As you can imagine it was a very emotional and sad time. I have always been blessed with love and support from him by providing me with the property enabling me to make The Olive Tree into the wonderful stunning building and business he knew I would successfully create.
Throughout all of the huge alternations 14 years ago, thankfully he was by my side watching all of the transformation which made him immensely proud.
I am sharing this with you as I feel it is the right thing to do out of respect to you all.
Also, a huge thank you to many of you who showed me support and endlessly asking how I was during those difficult 6 weeks of his ill health.
SO, THE TIME HAS COME FOR ME TO SEMI-RETIRE enabling me to look after my lovely Mum, who needs my help and support more and begin a new director in my life. I also have other ongoing business commitments too.
My plans for The Olive Tree will be revealed in time.
ZOE
Zoe is starting her own business and calling it 'The Olive Branch' from home in Driffield from July which is extremely exciting. Zoe has created a brand new luxurious Beauty Salon which has the same comfort, tranquil ambiance and of course excellent premium treatments. So I do hope that many of you support her and continue being her lovely clients.
It is going to be amazing and I guarantee you will all love it so much.
Zoe and I have worked together since day one, back in September 2009.
Zoe's support and loyalty over the years has been just incredible. We have shared lots of laugher, sadness and have worked very very hard together and I can honestly say we have never had a wrong word.
I wish her luck in her new adventure, I am sure she will look after you all and remain very very successfull.
Zoe is an extremely lovely, professional and caring person, together with her years of experience in the Health and Beauty industry will enable her to thrive for many years to come.
Zoe will also be offering Reflexology from July too.
LUCY
Lucy joined us 8 years ago on an Apprenticeship and has been just an absolute joy to work with every single day.
As many of you know, Lucy is a fantastic therapist and works very hard to provide you all with wonderful treatments.
Lucy shows such care and understanding with clients and has been a huge asset to the business.
She makes us laugh every single day and is always full of fun. She is an absolute star!.
I wish her well with which ever new path she takes and I am sure she will continue to be very successful.

I know sometimes we haven't got things quite right and have not maybe pleased all of you, but be sure to know, god damn it we have tried so hard!!!
