💜Team Tuesday: Claire’s Turn 💜

Meet Claire - a dedicated and invaluable member of the FAB team for a number of years and a keen runner who has achieved so much already. This year she’s taking on the Great North Run in support of St Catherine’s Hospice, running in loving memory of her dad, who she sadly lost in 2022.

Right now, she’s facing a tough challenge with a reoccuring injury which we know has been incredibly frustrating but if anyone has the determination to overcome it, it’s you Claire. 💪

At just 18, Katie is already making waves in the world of pre-hospital care 🙌

She joined FabTraining as an apprentice last year after discovering a real passion for all things medical. Since then, she’s:
✅ Completed her FREC3
✅ On track to complete her FREC4
✅ Built up hands-on experience as an event medic
✅ Taken the lead on our brilliant Teen Medic sessions!

Katie is living proof that school isn’t the only route to success. With passion, drive, and the right support amazing things can happen 💜

❤️ A Life of Service

This photo shows Bruce receiving his 5 Years’ Continuous Service award from the British Red Cross back in 2016 but his volunteer journey started long before that.

Bruce dedicated many years volunteering both as a trainer and an event medic with the Red Cross. He also served as a Community First Responder, providing vital emergency care before an ambulance arrived.

All of that experience brings something really special to his training delivery real-world insight, calm under pressure, and the kind of practical wisdom you can only get from being there.
