🎉 Better late than never… and absolutely worth the wait! 🎉Back in July, our wonderful Eric celebrated his 100th birthday — and yesterday, he finally received his long-awaited birthday present: a flight experience to remember! ✈️
With his daughter, the pilot and a carer who had never been in a plane before, Eric soared to an incredible 2,900 feet— and flew for most of the journey himself! The weather was perfect, the views were breathtaking, and Eric was over the moon 🌤️💙
What an amazing man and an unforgettable milestone.Here’s to 100 incredible years of Eric — from all of us at the Woodland View team, we hope your special day was everything you dreamed of and more! 🎂💐

🌸 Grandparents Day Celebration 🌸
We had a truly special afternoon celebrating our wonderful grandparents with a lovely afternoon tea! 🫖🍰
The room was full of laughter, full tables, smiling faces, and heartwarming moments as grandchildren and families joined us. For those without visiting family, we created a special table with delicious picky bits and shared stories, laughter, and company — no one was left without love today 💖
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the day so memorable. Our residents were deeply grateful, and so are we!

This Friday morning's baking session got off to a messy start 🍫😅 – we got stuck into making Rice Krispie cakes 🍚🍫, and chocolate ended up everywhere! Our activities lady handed out bowls of Rice Krispies so all our residents could get involved and stuck in 👩‍🍳Once they were set they went down a treat around the home 🏡😍
