🎭 Comic Relief Charity Walk – Join Us! 🐎

We’re excited to be hosting a Comic Relief Charity Walk starting at 10:00 AM on Monday, 16th March 2026 — and everyone is welcome to take part!

This special event is being led by Areion Equestrian Horses and organised in partnership with Dementia Barbers, Areion Equestrian, and Comic Relief. The more the merrier, so please come along and support a fantastic cause!

☕ How the morning will look:
• We’ll begin with cakes and a red mocktail to kick off the celebrations.
• Then we’ll set off on our charity walk.
• Along the route we will stop at four locations to collect some of our residents so they can join part of the walk and enjoy refreshments together.

👕 Comic Relief T-shirts will also be available to wear on the day — please ask at reception if you would like to purchase one.

❤️ Please join us and show your support!
Don’t forget to scan the QR code to donate and help us raise as much as possible for Comic Relief.

Join us next Monday the 16th of March for our fundraiser for Comic Relief! 🔴

We’ll be doing a loop walk around Tibberton and Crowle, stopping at some familiar spots along the way. The wonderful team at Aerion Equestrian will be supporting us by bringing their horses for the walk, our minibus will be following along so everyone can take part. 🐎🚐

Event details:
🕙 Start time: 10:00am
📍 Start point: Droitwich Mews
🍴 Refreshments available before and after the walk
👕 Comic Relief T-shirts available to purchase for £5

You can also meet us at our first stop – The Speed the Plough if that’s easier.

Our residents loved seeing the St David’s Day trolley decorated with the Welsh flag, bright daffodils and leeks! 🏴🌼
Everyone enjoyed taking part in a fun quiz and learning interesting facts about St David,did you know he was said to be a vegetarian and lived on leeks and water, reaching the ripe old age of 100?
There were also lots of smiles as residents crafted their own little Welsh lady faces, which sparked plenty of laughter and cheerful chatter throughout the day. What a wonderful way to celebrate together! 💛

Thanks to our wonderful kitchen team, who treated our residents to freshly made pancakes, for some it was the first pancakes they'd enjoyed in a long time. 😋
The smiles and stories of pancake making and flipping were heartwarming to hear and a tasty warming afternoon treat.

We have had a wonderful week filled full of fun, love, crafting 💕 singing and dancing 💃

Our residents have been busy bees with fun quizzes, fabulous crafting, and creating the most gorgeous heart display for a stunning photo opportunity ❤️📸 look at those smiles!
Once again we enjoyed singing along and showing off some brilliant dance moves while Rob played the piano 🎹🎶 The room was filled with laughter, music, and plenty of toe-tapping fun!
We’ve certainly felt the love this week! 💖

The sophisticated classical Allie Ivy performed for us today, she took us on a journey of genres singing delightful classical and opera songs 🎵 the residents really enjoyed her performance and her stunning voice ❤️
