With the lovely singer Megan entertaining everyone on all 3 floors a very busy afternoon, there were plenty of smiles, flag waving, reminiscing, singing along, and even a little dancing too! ❤️🎶

Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating our wonderful Head Chef, James! 🎉

James was nominated for the Staff Recognition Awards and went on to win , an incredible achievement, especially as he was one of just five winners across the North and Central region of Avery Healthcare!

We couldn’t be prouder of everything James has accomplished. It was made even more special as our Operations Director joined us to share all the amazing feedback and kind words that were said about him before presenting his well deserved award.

Congratulations, James we are all so proud of you! 👏

Our residents enjoyed a meaningful and inclusive St George’s Day celebration, with flags, hats, bunting and a range of engaging activities tailored to individual preferences. The day supported social interaction, wellbeing and choice, with everyone encouraged to take part in ways that suited them.
We also made the most of the glorious sunshine, spending time outdoors together and creating a warm, positive atmosphere. It was a lovely opportunity to promote companionship, independence and person-centred care while celebrating together. ☀️🇬🇧
